Today I’m sharing a card I created with the Kokeshi Dolls Die Set. This is so super sweet and actually very easy to do. You just have to follow the guidelines (there is one on the Spellbinders Website) I used the Paper from the new Color Wheel Warm Assortment Cardstock. I really love this cardstock – used Bellini and Sicily, two of my favorite colors.

To help to stand out I placed my doll on a piece I cut with the Modern Oval dies.

As background I decided to some flowers from the Gorgeous You Florals die Set. After placing them on my cardbase I run them trough my diecutting machine. This creates like an inlay effect, without any effort.

Hallo Bastelfreunde

 

heute zeige ich euch eine Karte, die ich mit dem Kokeshi Dolls Die Set gestaltet habe. Das ist so super süss und eigentlich sehr einfach zu machen. Man muss sich nur an die Anleitung halten (es gibt eine auf der Spellbinders Website). Ich habe das Papier aus dem neuen Color Wheel Warm Assortment Cardstock verwendet. Ich liebe dieses Papier- ich habe Bellini und Sizilien verwendet, zwei meiner Lieblingsfarben.

Damit die Puppe besser zur Geltung kommt, habe ich sie auf ein Stück gelegt, das ich mit den Modern Oval Stanzformen ausgeschnitten habe.

Als Hintergrund habe ich mich für einige Blumen aus dem Stanzenset Gorgeous You Florals entschieden. Nachdem ich sie auf meine Kartenbasis gelegt habe, lasse ich sie durch meine Stanzmaschine laufen. So entsteht ein Inlay-Effekt, ganz ohne Aufwand.

Aujourd'hui, je partage une carte que j'ai créée avec le set d'emporte-pièce Kokeshi Dolls. C'est super mignon et en fait très facile à faire. Il suffit de suivre les instructions (il y en a une sur le site de Spellbinders). J'ai utilisé le papier du nouveau Color Wheel Warm Assortment Cardstock. J'aime vraiment ce cardstock - j'ai utilisé Bellini et Sicily, deux de mes couleurs préférées.

Pour faire ressortir ma poupée, je l'ai placée sur un morceau que j'ai découpé avec les matrices Modern Oval.

Comme arrière-plan, j'ai décidé d'utiliser des fleurs du die set Gorgeous You Florals. Après les avoir placées sur mon fond de carte, je les ai passées dans ma machine à découper. Cela crée un effet d'incrustation, sans aucun effort.

Pressplate without Betterpress!

Did you know that you can you use your Pressplates without a Better Press or a Glimmer? 

You can do so with a flexible mat in you die cut machine!

I used the Daisy Trio from Yana Smakula to show you how easy it is to do so. Especially with the stencils you can achieve great results.

I started by pressing the Pressplate with the flexible mat with my die cut machine on light colored cardstock. This might look a little bit weird at the beginning – but trust me, with the stencils it will look great.

 

Then I used all the coordinating stencils to ad colors to my daisys. I really love how this turned out. 

 

I also used the Pressplate with the Betterpress system. This looks fabulous already, without adding the stenciling. But I added the same colors as I did on my first example. 

Then I decided to add as well the texture to my second card. I lined it up as good as I could and used it with my flexible mat too. So it creates that additional texture too.

As sentiment there is this perfect spot over the daisies, and I think you can use this motive for every occasion. I also plan to do some sympathy cards with some muted colors.

 

And finally here is a little trick, if you want to have a matching background color – but without using a whole sheet of cardstock. Just color your cardbase directly with a matching ink Pad.

wusstet Ihr, dass Ihr Eure Pressplates auch ohne Better Press oder Glimmer verwenden könnt? 

Sie können dies mit einer flexiblen Matte in Ihrer Stanzmaschine tun!

Ich habe das Daisy Trio von Yana Smakula benutzt, um euch zu zeigen, wie einfach das geht. Besonders mit den Schablonen kann man tolle Ergebnisse erzielen.

 

Ich habe damit begonnen, die Pressplatte mit der flexiblen Matte mit meiner Stanzmaschine auf hellen Papier zu drücken. Das sieht am Anfang vielleicht ein bisschen komisch aus - aber glaubt mir, mit den Schablonen wird es toll aussehen.

 

Dann habe ich alle passenden Schablonen verwendet, um meine Gänseblümchen farblich zu gestalten. Das Ergebnis ist wirklich toll geworden. 

 

Ich habe auch die Pressplate mit dem Betterpress-System verwendet. Das sieht schon toll aus, ohne die Schablonen hinzuzufügen. Aber ich habe die gleichen Farben wie bei meinem ersten Beispiel verwendet. 

Dann habe ich beschlossen, auch die zweite Karte mit einer Textur zu versehen. Ich habe die Schablone so gut wie möglich ausgerichtet und sie auch mit meiner flexiblen Matte verwendet. So entsteht auch diese zusätzliche Textur.

 

 

Als Sentiment gibt es diesen perfekten Platz über den Gänseblümchen, und ich denke, man kann dieses Motiv für jeden Anlass verwenden. Ich habe auch vor, einige Beileidskarten mit gedeckten Farben zu machen.

 

Und zum Schluss noch ein kleiner Trick, wenn ihr eine passende Hintergrundfarbe haben wollt - aber ohne einen ganzen Bogen Cardstock zu verwenden. Färben Sie Ihren Kartenuntergrund einfach direkt mit einem passenden Stempelkissen ein.

 

Ich hoffe, Sie probieren die Pressplate mal aus.

Saviez-vous que vous pouvez utiliser vos Pressplates sans Better Press ou Glimmer ? 

Vous pouvez le faire avec un tapis flexible dans votre machine à découper !

J'ai utilisé le Daisy Trio de Yana Smakula pour vous montrer à quel point c'est facile. Surtout avec les pochoirs, vous pouvez obtenir d'excellents résultats.

 

J'ai commencé par presser la plaque de presse avec le tapis flexible avec ma machine à découper sur du papier cartonné de couleur claire. Cela peut sembler un peu bizarre au début, mais croyez-moi, avec les pochoirs, le résultat sera parfait.

 

J'ai ensuite utilisé tous les pochoirs coordonnés pour ajouter des couleurs à mes marguerites. J'adore le résultat. 

 

J'ai également utilisé la plaque de presse avec le système Betterpress. Ce résultat est déjà fabuleux, sans ajout de pochoir. Mais j'ai ajouté les mêmes couleurs que sur mon premier exemple. 

J'ai ensuite décidé d'ajouter la texture à ma deuxième carte. Je l'ai aligné du mieux que j'ai pu et je l'ai également utilisé avec mon tapis flexible. Cela crée une texture supplémentaire.

 

Pour le sentiment, il y a un endroit parfait au-dessus des marguerites, et je pense que vous pouvez utiliser ce motif pour toutes les occasions. J'ai également l'intention de faire des cartes de sympathie avec des couleurs plus sourdes.

 

Et enfin, voici une petite astuce, si vous voulez avoir une couleur d'arrière-plan assortie - mais sans utiliser une feuille entière de cardstock. Il vous suffit de colorer votre fond de carte directement avec un tampon encreur assorti.

Cute Kokeshi Dolls

Buongiorno creative, 

come state? 

oggi vi mostro cards con queste adorabili Kokeshi di Spellbinders. Sono delle placche per la betterpress chiamate Kokeshi dolls spring in Kyoto.

Solitamente mi piace usare le press plate con la glimmer machine per foilizzare, ma questa volta ho voluto usare la Betterpress. Le bamboline le ho colorate con gli Zig clean color real brush.

Per la prima card ho usare la better press Cherry blossoms spring in Kyoto   per creare uno sfondo con i fiori di ciliegio. Dato che mi sembrava un po' troppo nero, ho aggiunto un pezzo di vellum perlato argento per rendere lo sfondo più delicato.

today I show you cards with these adorable Kokeshi from Spellbinders. They are betterpress plates called Kokeshi dolls spring in Kyoto.

I usually like to use press plates with the glimmer machine to foil, but this time I wanted to use the Betterpress. I colored the dolls with the Zig clean color real brush.

For the first card I used Betterpress Cherry blossoms spring in Kyoto to create a background with cherry blossoms. Since it seemed a little too black, I added a piece of silver pearl vellum to make the background more delicate.

Mentre per la seconda card ho sfumato dell'inchiostro rosa la parte superiore del cartoncino e poi disegnato sempre con gli zig dei rami ci ciliegio.

While for the second card I shaded some pink ink the top of the card and then drew always with zigs some branches there cherry tree.

Japanese Cherry Blossom

oggi vi mostro queste due card fatte con le novità di Spellbinders che potete trovare sul sito di Scraphouse!

Non son stupendi questi fiori di ciliegio? Li adoro! Ho usato la press plate Cherry blossoms spring in Kyoto per foilizzare in oro ed in nero. Una volta ritagliato i fiori con la loro apposita fustella, li ho colorati con dei marker ad alcohol, in questo caso gli OLO.

Today I show you these two cards made with new Spellbinders that you can find on the Scraphouse website!

Aren't these cherry blossoms gorgeous? I love them! I used the Cherry blossoms spring press plate in Kyoto to foil in gold and black. Once I cut out the flowers with their appropriate die cut, I colored them with alcohol markers, in this case OLOs.

Per questa prima card preso un cartoncino viola ed embossato con il 3D embossing folder Molded frame , nella parte inferiore ho sfumato l'inchiostro Regal kiss di Pinkfresh studio, creato delle macchie dorate con un'acquarello oro e marcato i bordi del frame con una gel pen dorata.

For this first card I took a purple cardstock and embossed it with the 3D embossing folder Molded frame , at the bottom I blended Regal kiss ink from Pinkfresh studio, created gold flecks with a gold watercolor and marked the edges of the frame with a gold gel pen.

invece per questa seconda card , ho usato un embossing folder differente, Floral fans spring in Kyoto , e passato sulla parte in rilievo l'inchiostro Ballet slippers di Pinkfresh Studio. come puoi notare dall' immagine sottostante, ho embossato solo un angolo del mio cartoncino.

instead for this second card , I used a different embossing folder, Floral fans spring in Kyoto , and passed on the embossed part the Ballet slippers ink from Pinkfresh Studio. as you can see from the 'image below, I embossed only one corner of my card.
