Hello everyone

Today I’m sharing some Birthday cards I created with the Bold Color Numbers from Spellbinders. What a great set, you can Foil the number, Betterpress the numbers or just cut them from cardstock. And I found they have the perfect size 

I decided to foil my numbers for these cards and then cut them out with the coordinating dies.

As background I used the Floral Celebration Pressplate. I also foiled the background with the same foil as the numbers. I used White or Alabaster Cardstock from Spellbinders, which is smoot and thick. Then I colored the flowers and leaves with the coordinating stencils. Super easy and perfect to play with colors. 

On some flowers I decided to add little die cut flowers, just for some interest. My Happy Birthday I added right over the numbers, but you can also create a banner and add it over or under the number.

heute zeige ich euch einige Geburtstagskarten, die ich mit den Bold Color Numbers von Spellbinders gestaltet habe. Was für ein tolles Set! Man kann die Zahlen folieren, mit Betterpress prägen oder einfach aus Karton ausschneiden. Und ich finde, sie haben die perfekte Größe. 

Ich habe mich entschieden, meine Zahlen für diese Karten zu folieren und sie dann mit den passenden Stanzformen auszuschneiden.

Als Hintergrund habe ich die Floral Celebration Pressplate verwendet. Den Hintergrund habe ich ebenfalls mit derselben Folie wie die Zahlen foliert. Ich habe weißen oder alabasterfarbenen Karton von Spellbinders verwendet, der glatt und dick ist. Dann habe ich die Blumen und Blätter mit den passenden Schablonen koloriert. Das ist super einfach und perfekt, um mit Farben zu spielen. Auf einigen Blumen habe ich kleine ausgestanzte Blumen hinzugefügt, um das Ganze etwas interessanter zu gestalten. Mein „Happy Birthday” habe ich direkt über die Zahlen gesetzt, aber man kann auch ein Banner erstellen und es über oder unter die Zahl setzen.

Aujourd'hui, je vous présente quelques cartes d'anniversaire que j'ai créées à l'aide des chiffres aux couleurs vives de Spellbinders. Quel superbe ensemble ! Vous pouvez les embosser à chaud, les gaufrer ou simplement les découper dans du papier cartonné. Et j'ai trouvé qu'ils avaient la taille parfaite. 

J'ai décidé d'embosser à chaud mes chiffres pour ces cartes, puis de les découper à l'aide des matrices assorties.

Pour le fond, j'ai utilisé la plaque d'impression Floral Celebration. J'ai également gaufré le fond avec la même feuille que les chiffres. J'ai utilisé du papier cartonné blanc ou albâtre de Spellbinders, qui est lisse et épais. J'ai ensuite coloré les fleurs et les feuilles à l'aide des pochoirs assortis. C'est très facile et parfait pour jouer avec les couleurs. Sur certaines fleurs, j'ai décidé d'ajouter de petites fleurs découpées à l'emporte-pièce, juste pour ajouter un peu d'intérêt. J'ai ajouté « Happy Birthday » juste au-dessus des chiffres, mais vous pouvez également créer une bannière et l'ajouter au-dessus ou en dessous des chiffres.

A Special Toast

 

Buona sera creative, come state? La mia prima card i quest'anno é a tema matrimonio! Lo scorso anno é uscita questa magnifica fustella di Spellbinders A special toast , ma essendo alle prese con le cards di natale, l'ho lasciata in disparte. Finalmente ho trovato l'occasione di usarla. Ho sempre un po'di difficoltà quando una fustella ha tanti piccoli dettagli perché non so mai che colori combinare insieme. In questo caso ho usato le carte base di Spellbinders per esser sicura che si abbinassero bene insieme. 

Ho scelto 3 verdi differenti per le foglie e in colori sul rosa-rosso per i fiori.

Invece per lo sfondo ho usato la hot foil plate di Pinkfresh studio LushVines con del foil dorato per dargli un tocco elegante alla card.

Good evening, crafters, how are you? 

My first card this year is wedding-themed! Last year, Spellbinders released this magnificent die cut, A Special Toast, but since I was busy with Christmas cards, I left it aside. Finally, I found the opportunity to use it. I always have a little trouble when a die cut has lots of small details because I never know which colors to combine. In this case, I used Spellbinders base cards to make sure they would match well together. 

I chose three different greens for the leaves and pink-red colors for the flowers.

For the background, I used Pinkfresh Studio's LushVines hot foil plate with gold foil to give the card an elegant touch.

Happy Hippo Birthday Card!

Hello everyone

How is your crafty mood? I’m starting again after all the Christmas cards with some Birthday cards. For the cards today I used the Best Gift ever Set, this set is perfect for Christmas and Birthday. I foiled the bows and then added colors with the stencil. The I cut everything with the matching die. 

I also wanted to have a fun element, so I used the Hippo from the Swinging Among Die Set. Isn’t it super cute?

For my background I added a bit of ink on my work surface, added water and did some ink smooshing. Super fast and is also good to maybe use some left over inks. Then I stamped my sentiment and added a little balloon. To add more interest and shine I used Astro Paste to get some glitter in the back.

Hallo zusammen,

wie ist eure Bastellaune? Nach all den Weihnachtskarten fange ich jetzt wieder mit Geburtstagskarten an. Für die heutigen Karten habe ich das Set „Best Gift Ever“ verwendet, das sich perfekt für Weihnachten und Geburtstage eignet. Ich habe die Schleifen mit Folie überzogen und dann mit der Schablone Farbe hinzugefügt. Anschließend habe ich alles mit der passenden Stanze ausgestanzt. 

Da ich auch ein lustiges Element haben wollte, habe ich das Nilpferd aus dem Stanzset „Swinging Among“ verwendet. Ist es nicht super süß?

Für den Hintergrund habe ich etwas Tinte auf meine Arbeitsfläche gegeben, Wasser hinzugefügt und die Tinte etwas verschmiert. Das geht super schnell und eignet sich auch gut, um vielleicht übrig gebliebene Tintenreste zu verbrauchen. Dann habe ich meinen Spruch gestempelt und einen kleinen Ballon hinzugefügt. Um das Ganze interessanter zu gestalten und etwas Glanz hinzuzufügen, habe ich Astro Paste verwendet, um etwas Glitzer im Hintergrund zu erzielen.

Comment va votre inspiration créative ? Après toutes les cartes de Noël, je me remets au travail avec quelques cartes d'anniversaire. Pour les cartes d'aujourd'hui, j'ai utilisé le set Best Gift ever, qui est parfait pour Noël et les anniversaires. J'ai embossé les nœuds, puis j'ai ajouté des couleurs à l'aide du pochoir. J'ai ensuite découpé le tout avec la matrice assortie. 

Je voulais également ajouter un élément amusant, j'ai donc utilisé l'hippopotame du set de matrices Swinging Among. N'est-il pas adorable ?

Pour le fond, j'ai ajouté un peu d'encre sur ma surface de travail, j'ai ajouté de l'eau et j'ai étalé l'encre. C'est très rapide et c'est aussi un bon moyen d'utiliser les restes d'encre. J'ai ensuite tamponné mon message et ajouté un petit ballon. Pour ajouter de l'intérêt et de la brillance, j'ai utilisé de la pâte Astro Paste pour ajouter des paillettes à l'arrière.
