Hello crafty friends

 

It’s always good to stretch our supplies, isn’t it?

For this card I used the Golden Poppies set, which is actually a spring / summer flower set. But I changed it up to use it as a Christmas card.

I started with the stencils and used deep reds and greens for a Christmas feeling. The I cut everything with the coordinating die. For my background I used The Criss Cross Pressplate. One of my last years favorites. I Foiled it with white foil on green paper. 

Then I also cut some Rectangles from the Spellbinders Pierced and Scored Rectangle Set. So, I get lots of layers.

Then I assembled the flowers and leaves. I also added some berry’s and of course – glitter. 

A added the German Christmas Sentiment on top and here we go, my first Christmas card of the season.

Hallo, liebe Bastelfreunde,

 

es ist doch immer gut, das Beste aus unseren Bastelmaterialien zu machen, oder?

Für diese Karte habe ich das Set „Golden Poppies“ verwendet, das eigentlich ein Blumen-Set für Frühling und Sommer ist. Aber ich habe es einfach mal als Weihnachtskarte umfunktioniert.

Ich habe mit den Schablonen begonnen und kräftige Rot- und Grüntöne verwendet, um eine weihnachtliche Stimmung zu erzeugen. Anschließend habe ich alles mit der passenden Stanzform ausgestanzt. Für den Hintergrund habe ich die Prägeplatte „The Criss Cross“ verwendet – einer meiner Favoriten aus dem letzten Jahr. Ich habe sie mit weißer Folie auf grünem Papier geprägt. Dann habe ich noch einige Rechtecke aus dem „Pierced and Scored Rectangle“-Set von Spellbinders ausgestanzt. So erhalte ich viele Schichten.

Anschließend habe ich die Blumen und Blätter zusammengesetzt. Außerdem habe ich noch ein paar Beeren und natürlich Glitzer hinzugefügt.

Oben drauf kam noch der deutsche Weihnachtsspruch – und fertig ist meine erste Weihnachtskarte der Saison.

C’est toujours sympa de savoir tirer le meilleur parti de son matériel, n’est-ce pas ?

Pour cette carte, j’ai utilisé le set « Golden Poppies », qui est en réalité un set de fleurs pour le printemps et l’été. Mais j’ai pris le risque de l’utiliser pour réaliser une carte de Noël.

J’ai commencé par les pochoirs et j’ai utilisé des rouges et des verts profonds pour créer une ambiance de Noël. J’ai ensuite découpé tous les éléments avec la matrice assortie. Pour mon fond, j’ai utilisé la plaque de gaufrage « The Criss Cross Pressplate », l’une de mes préférées de l’année dernière. Je l’ai gaufrée avec une f

sur du papier vert. J’ai également découpé quelques rectangles à l’aide du set « Pierced and Scored Rectangle » de Spellbinders. J’ai ainsi obtenu de nombreuses couches.

J’ai ensuite assemblé les fleurs et les feuilles. J’ai également ajouté quelques baies et, bien sûr, des paillettes.

J’ai ajouté le message de Noël en allemand par-dessus et voilà, ma première carte de Noël de la saison.

Enjoy the little things

Bonjour!

Après une longue absence, je suis ravie de revenir avec une création pour Scraphouse.

Comme vous l'avez probablement remarqué, les nouveautés de l'automne chez Lawn Fawn sont déjà en magasin chez Scraphouse. 

Mais moi, je ne suis pas encore prête à passer en mood automnal. 

J'ai donc décidé de sortir la collection "Un été à Avonlea" de Ha Pi Little Fox. Toute cette capsule invite à la douceur, à la nature et à la détente.  Voici les produits utilisés pour ma carte:

J'ai commencé par choisir les motifs que je voulais insérer sur ma carte. J'ai décidé de partir avec un bouquet de fleurs lié par un petit nœud. J'ai découpé les images et je les ai coloriées aux Copic. J'ai ensuite ajouté des rub-ons pour habiller le fond de ma carte et un sentiment. J'ai ajouté une petite abeille à la fin, parce qu'elle est tellement mignonne... Et voilà!

J'adore cette collection, pleine de douceur... Si vous aussi, vous craquez, il y a encore quelques pièces en magasin à prix réduit!

Masculine Thank you Card

 Hello crafty friends

I’m sharing a card which I would say is more masculine. I always struggle when I cannot add my lovely florals, so I`m quite happy how it tuned out. I used one of my favorite dies – the giant Merci from Lawn Fawn. Because it cuts outlines and shadow its very versatile, and has a great size. 

I chose three colors of cardstock and cut them into 3 pieces, to fill a background. Then I cut the word merci from all of them. Then I started to switch colors in between

Quite simple, but with a great effect.

Hallo, liebe Bastelfreunde,

ich zeige euch heute eine Karte, die ich eher als maskulin bezeichnen würde. Es fällt mir immer schwer, wenn ich meine schönen Blumenmotive nicht verwenden kann, daher bin ich ziemlich zufrieden damit, wie sie geworden ist. Ich habe eine meiner Lieblingsstanzformen verwendet – das riesige „Merci“ von Lawn Fawn. Da es sowohl Umrisse als auch Schatten ausstanzt, ist es sehr vielseitig und hat eine tolle Größe.

Ich habe drei verschiedene Farben Karton ausgewählt und sie in drei Stücke geschnitten, um den Hintergrund zu füllen. Dann habe ich aus allen Stücken das Wort „Merci“ ausgestanzt. Anschließend habe ich die Farben abwechselnd angeordnet.

Ganz einfach, aber mit toller Wirkung.

Bonjour à tous les amateurs de loisirs créatifs !

Je vous présente aujourd’hui une carte que je qualifierais plutôt de masculine. J’ai toujours un peu de mal quand je ne peux pas ajouter mes jolies fleurs, alors je suis plutôt contente du résultat. J’ai utilisé l’un de mes emporte-pièces préférés : le « Merci » géant de Lawn Fawn. Comme il découpe à la fois le contour et l’ombre, il est très polyvalent et sa taille est idéale.

J’ai choisi trois couleurs de papier cartonné et je les ai découpés en trois morceaux pour remplir le fond. Ensuite, j’ai découpé le mot « merci » dans chacun d’entre eux. Puis j’ai commencé à alterner les couleurs entre les morceaux.

C’est assez simple, mais le résultat est superbe.

Christmas cats

Buongiorno Card makers, 

come state? 

Nonostante questa estate caldissima che sembra non finire mai, é ora di pensare al Natale! Quindi eccomi qui con le mie prime due card natalizie, restando sempre sulla scia di una cat lover.:D 

Questa volta, anziché un timbro, ho usato il nuovo set di fustelle di Spellbinders Christmas cats etched dies combinandolo con un altro set vecchio Delivering joy etched dies. 

Ho voluto ricreare una scena dove il gatto, invece di arrampicarsi su un albero di Natale, lo facesse su una pila di regali che ne ricordasse la forma.

Per dare alla card un tocco speciale, ho usato il 3 d embossing folder Diamond blocks come sfondo.

How are you? 

Even though this scorching summer seems to go on forever, it’s time to start thinking about Christmas! So here I am with my first two Christmas cards, staying true to my cat-loving style. :D

This time, instead of a stamp, I used the new Spellbinders “Christmas Cats Etched Dies” set, combining it with another older set, “Delivering Joy Etched Dies.”

I wanted to recreate a scene where the cat, instead of climbing a Christmas tree, climbs a stack of presents shaped like one.

To give the card a special touch, I used the “Diamond Blocks” 3D embossing folder as the background.

Invece per la seconda car ho usato un 3d Embossing differente , Herringbone decor. 

Cosa ne pensate? Quale dei due vi ha colpito di più?

Heureux comme un chat au jardin

Buongiorno Creative, come state? 

In battibaleno siamo già arrivate ad agosto! Con il grande caldo estivo di quest'anno, non ho avuto l'energie di creare card, ma dopo un giorno trascorso con un'amica cardmaker, mi é ritornata il craft mojo!

Per chi mi conosce, sa che ho un gran debole per i gatti, quindi non ho resistito ed ho preso questo timbro di  L'encre et l'image Heureux comme un chat au jardin. Non trovate adorabili i due micetti in questo set? Io li adoro!!!

Ho timbrato i mici sulla carta apposita per la colorazione con i marker ad alcool e li ho colorati con i Copic markers. 

In seguito ho pensato che sarebbe stata una buona idea "incorniciare" il gattino e quindi ho usato il nuovo embossing folder di Spellbinders Ornate Molded frame 3D .

How are you all doing?

Before we knew it, it’s already August! With this year’s intense summer heat, I didn’t have the energy to make cards, but after spending a day with a fellow cardmaker friend, my crafting mojo is back!

Anyone who knows me knows I have a huge soft spot for cats, so I couldn’t resist and picked up this stamp set from L’encre et l’image called “Heureux comme un chat au jardin.” Don’t you think the two kittens in this set are adorable? I absolutely love them!!!

I stamped the kittens onto paper designed for coloring with alcohol markers and colored them with Copic markers.

Then I thought it would be a good idea to “frame” the kitten, so I used the new Spellbinders “Ornate Molded Frame 3D” embossing folder.

Per restare in tema del soggetto della mia card, il gatto nel vaso di fiori, ho pensato di usare lo stencil della Lawnfawn Daisy bloom outline background con il tampone bianco Yeti ed ho creato delle macchie dorate e pitturato il bordo della cornice con la Nuvo Sparkle Spray.

To stay on theme with the subject of my card—the cat in the vase of flowers—I decided to use the Lawnfawn Daisy Bloom Outline Background stencil with the white Yeti ink pad, and I created some golden splotches and painted the edge of the frame with Nuvo Sparkle Spray.

Infine un nel sentiment foilizzato e voilà , card pronta!
