A Special Toast

 

Buona sera creative, come state? La mia prima card i quest'anno é a tema matrimonio! Lo scorso anno é uscita questa magnifica fustella di Spellbinders A special toast , ma essendo alle prese con le cards di natale, l'ho lasciata in disparte. Finalmente ho trovato l'occasione di usarla. Ho sempre un po'di difficoltà quando una fustella ha tanti piccoli dettagli perché non so mai che colori combinare insieme. In questo caso ho usato le carte base di Spellbinders per esser sicura che si abbinassero bene insieme. 

Ho scelto 3 verdi differenti per le foglie e in colori sul rosa-rosso per i fiori.

Invece per lo sfondo ho usato la hot foil plate di Pinkfresh studio LushVines con del foil dorato per dargli un tocco elegante alla card.

Good evening, crafters, how are you? 

My first card this year is wedding-themed! Last year, Spellbinders released this magnificent die cut, A Special Toast, but since I was busy with Christmas cards, I left it aside. Finally, I found the opportunity to use it. I always have a little trouble when a die cut has lots of small details because I never know which colors to combine. In this case, I used Spellbinders base cards to make sure they would match well together. 

I chose three different greens for the leaves and pink-red colors for the flowers.

For the background, I used Pinkfresh Studio's LushVines hot foil plate with gold foil to give the card an elegant touch.

Happy Hippo Birthday Card!

Hello everyone

How is your crafty mood? I’m starting again after all the Christmas cards with some Birthday cards. For the cards today I used the Best Gift ever Set, this set is perfect for Christmas and Birthday. I foiled the bows and then added colors with the stencil. The I cut everything with the matching die. 

I also wanted to have a fun element, so I used the Hippo from the Swinging Among Die Set. Isn’t it super cute?

For my background I added a bit of ink on my work surface, added water and did some ink smooshing. Super fast and is also good to maybe use some left over inks. Then I stamped my sentiment and added a little balloon. To add more interest and shine I used Astro Paste to get some glitter in the back.

Hallo zusammen,

wie ist eure Bastellaune? Nach all den Weihnachtskarten fange ich jetzt wieder mit Geburtstagskarten an. Für die heutigen Karten habe ich das Set „Best Gift Ever“ verwendet, das sich perfekt für Weihnachten und Geburtstage eignet. Ich habe die Schleifen mit Folie überzogen und dann mit der Schablone Farbe hinzugefügt. Anschließend habe ich alles mit der passenden Stanze ausgestanzt. 

Da ich auch ein lustiges Element haben wollte, habe ich das Nilpferd aus dem Stanzset „Swinging Among“ verwendet. Ist es nicht super süß?

Für den Hintergrund habe ich etwas Tinte auf meine Arbeitsfläche gegeben, Wasser hinzugefügt und die Tinte etwas verschmiert. Das geht super schnell und eignet sich auch gut, um vielleicht übrig gebliebene Tintenreste zu verbrauchen. Dann habe ich meinen Spruch gestempelt und einen kleinen Ballon hinzugefügt. Um das Ganze interessanter zu gestalten und etwas Glanz hinzuzufügen, habe ich Astro Paste verwendet, um etwas Glitzer im Hintergrund zu erzielen.

Comment va votre inspiration créative ? Après toutes les cartes de Noël, je me remets au travail avec quelques cartes d'anniversaire. Pour les cartes d'aujourd'hui, j'ai utilisé le set Best Gift ever, qui est parfait pour Noël et les anniversaires. J'ai embossé les nœuds, puis j'ai ajouté des couleurs à l'aide du pochoir. J'ai ensuite découpé le tout avec la matrice assortie. 

Je voulais également ajouter un élément amusant, j'ai donc utilisé l'hippopotame du set de matrices Swinging Among. N'est-il pas adorable ?

Pour le fond, j'ai ajouté un peu d'encre sur ma surface de travail, j'ai ajouté de l'eau et j'ai étalé l'encre. C'est très rapide et c'est aussi un bon moyen d'utiliser les restes d'encre. J'ai ensuite tamponné mon message et ajouté un petit ballon. Pour ajouter de l'intérêt et de la brillance, j'ai utilisé de la pâte Astro Paste pour ajouter des paillettes à l'arrière.

Christmas reindeer

 Buongiorno creative, 

come state? siete alle prese a creare delle vostre ultime card natalizie? Essendo vicini al Natale ho voluto usare le novità di San Valentino della Lawfawn per creare una card natalizia! Cosa ne pensate?

Per lo sfondo ho usato lo stencil Outline Hearts con l'Oxide Lumberjack plaid , tonalità rossa perfetta per le festività, dove di seguito ho incollato un cartoncino rosso luccicante. Son rimasta un po' spiazzata dal sentiment bello grande della Lawnfawn Giant Merry Christmas, dopo diverse prove , ho deciso di fustellarlo con un cartoncino glitterato verde e uno nero per conferirgli un'effetto di ombreggiatura.

Infine il personaggio protagonista della card é quest'adorabile rennina colorata con gli Olo markers presente del set di timbri Critter conversation hearts.

Good morning, crafters,

how are you? Are you busy creating your last Christmas cards? With Christmas just around the corner, I wanted to use Lawfawn's new Valentine's Day products to create a Christmas card! What do you think?

For the background, I used the Outline Hearts stencil with Oxide Lumberjack plaid, a red shade perfect for the holidays, and then I glued a shiny red cardstock underneath. I was a little taken aback by the large Lawnfawn Giant Merry Christmas sentiment, but after several attempts, I decided to die cut it with green and black glitter cardstock to give it a shadow effect.

Finally, the star of the card is this adorable reindeer colored with Olo markers from the Critter Conversation Hearts stamp set.

Christmas Gift Tree

Hello crafty friends

How is your Christmas crafting going? I’m sharing another Christmas card featuring the Gorgeous Giftwrap Set. This time I foiled them and used again the coordinating stencils. I also tried to use Gold Pigment ink, it looks great as well, but I like the result with the glimmer much better. Then I cut the gits out with the coordinating die.

For my background I used the Petite Criss Cross Plate. Love the pattern. I created a tone on tone look for a soft textured background. I also added some white and glittery dots with a pen to add more interest. 

Then I assembled my gifts, so that they look like a tree. I added a trunk and a star to recognize the shape even better.

Then I added my sentiment, created with the German Sentiments from Spellbinders over my tree. Too make it even more festive I used the Notes Twine bow to add on top. This somehow puts everything more together and I really like how the card turned out.

Hallo, liebe Bastelfreunde

Wie läuft es mit euren Weihnachtsbasteleien? Ich zeige euch eine weitere Weihnachtskarte mit dem Gorgeous Giftwrap Set. Dieses Mal habe ich sie foliert und wieder die passenden Schablonen verwendet. Ich habe auch versucht, Gold-Pigmenttinte zu verwenden, das sieht auch toll aus, aber mir gefällt das Ergebnis mit dem Schimmer viel besser. Dann habe ich die Geschenke mit der passenden Stanze ausgestanzt.

Für den Hintergrund habe ich die Petite Criss Cross Plate verwendet. Ich liebe dieses Muster. Ich habe einen Ton-in-Ton-Look für einen weichen, strukturierten Hintergrund geschaffen. Außerdem habe ich mit einem Stift einige weiße und glitzernde Punkte hinzugefügt, um das Ganze interessanter zu gestalten. 

Dann habe ich meine Geschenke so angeordnet, dass sie wie ein Baum aussehen. Ich habe einen Stamm und einen Stern hinzugefügt, damit die Form noch besser zu erkennen ist.

Dann habe ich meinen Spruch, den ich mit den German Sentiments von Spellbinders erstellt habe, über meinem Baum angebracht. Um das Ganze noch festlicher zu gestalten, habe ich oben eine Schleife aus Notes Twine angebracht. Das rundet das Ganze irgendwie ab und mir gefällt das Ergebnis der Karte sehr gut.

Bonjour les amis créatifs,

Comment se passent vos créations de Noël ? Je vous présente une autre carte de Noël réalisée avec le set Gorgeous Giftwrap. Cette fois-ci, j'ai utilisé la technique du foil et j'ai de nouveau utilisé les pochoirs assortis. J'ai également essayé d'utiliser de l'encre pigmentée dorée, qui donne un très beau résultat, mais je préfère nettement celui obtenu avec la technique du foil. J'ai ensuite découpé les cadeaux à l'aide du die assorti.

Pour le fond, j'ai utilisé la plaque Petite Criss Cross Plate. J'adore le motif. J'ai créé un effet ton sur ton pour obtenir un fond à la texture douce. J'ai également ajouté quelques points blancs et pailletés à l'aide d'un stylo pour rendre le tout plus intéressant. 

J'ai ensuite assemblé mes cadeaux de manière à ce qu'ils ressemblent à un sapin. J'ai ajouté un tronc et une étoile pour que la forme soit encore plus reconnaissable.

J'ai ensuite ajouté mon message, créé avec les German Sentiments de Spellbinders, au-dessus de mon sapin. Pour rendre le tout encore plus festif, j'ai utilisé le nœud Notes Twine pour décorer le dessus. Cela permet en quelque sorte de tout harmoniser et j'aime beaucoup le résultat final de la carte.

Hello every one

Today I’m sharing a simple card featuring the Best Gift ever Set. I started by hot foiling the bows. Then colored the gifts with the coordinating stencils. I used 3 shades of rose. On some I went softer on other bolder. So, I created a tone on tone look.

Then I took the coordinating die – but instead of die cutting a use a flexible mat and created an impression with the die. This looks like I used an embossing folder. I really love that look and it’s so fast to do. Then I added my sentiment in that perfect spot. But I went a little over board and wanted to ad glossy accent – so I messed up everything and I had to cover it up with a big sentiment. Do you also mess up at the end of creating a card?

Hallo zusammen

 

Heute zeige ich euch eine einfache Karte mit dem Stempelset „Best Gift Ever“. Zuerst habe ich die Schleifen heißgeprägt. Dann habe ich die Geschenke mit den passenden Schablonen koloriert. Ich habe drei Rosatöne verwendet. Bei einigen habe ich mich für sanftere Töne entschieden, bei anderen für kräftigere. So habe ich einen Ton-in-Ton-Look erzielt.

Dann habe ich die passende Stanze genommen – aber statt zu stanzen, habe ich eine flexible Matte verwendet und mit der Stanze einen Abdruck gemacht. Das sieht aus, als hätte ich eine Prägevorlage verwendet. Ich liebe diesen Look und er ist so schnell zu erzielen. Dann habe ich meinen Spruch an der perfekten Stelle hinzugefügt. Aber ich habe es etwas übertrieben und wollte noch einen Glanzakzent setzen – dabei habe ich alles ruiniert und musste es mit einem großen Spruch überdecken. Passiert Ihnen das auch manchmal, dass Sie am Ende beim Basteln einer Karte alles ruinieren?

Bonjour à tous

 

Aujourd'hui, je vous présente une carte toute simple réalisée avec le set Best Gift ever. J'ai commencé par embosser à chaud les nœuds. J'ai ensuite coloré les cadeaux à l'aide des pochoirs assortis. J'ai utilisé trois nuances de rose. Sur certains, j'ai opté pour des couleurs plus douces, sur d'autres, plus vives. J'ai ainsi créé un effet ton sur ton.

J'ai ensuite pris la matrice assortie, mais au lieu de découper, j'ai utilisé un tapis souple et j'ai créé une impression avec la matrice. On dirait que j'ai utilisé un dossier d'embossage. J'adore vraiment ce rendu et c'est très rapide à faire. J'ai ensuite ajouté mon message à l'endroit idéal. Mais j'ai un peu exagéré et j'ai voulu ajouter une touche brillante, ce qui a tout gâché et m'a obligée à recouvrir le tout avec un grand message. Vous arrive-t-il aussi de tout gâcher à la fin de la création d'une carte ?

Winter Wonderland Card Trio with Isha Gupta

  Hello everyone!! Welcome to my cozy corner of winter crafting!  It's Isha here, after a long time. I saw Marjolein got the new ski-sons-greetings collection by Simon Hurley at Spellbinders  in the SHOP — featuring charming A-frame cabins, snowy trees, and a cheerful skier gliding through frosty hills. So, today, I’m sharing a trio of cards. They were so much fun to create :)

I fell in love with the small cabin and the embossing folders and the skiers are so close to my heart :) These dies make it so easy to create little winter stories — whether it’s a season of cheer, a happy new year, or winter greetings, there’s a touch of magic in every layer! 

Grab your inks, a hot drink, and let’s dive into some winter inspiration

I used Streamline 3D embossing folder, Ski Lodge Etched dies and Hit The Slope etched dies for all my cards. There is a wide range of inks and other supplies in the shop. Do check it out.

Card 1 – Season of Cheer 

For this card, I chose a deep red cabin against a soft blush pink sky. I used the Ski Lodge, Streamline embossing folder along with the Mistletoe Greetings from the previous release, which I used my glimmer to hot foil. The background has that gentle snowy swirl, created using the embossing folder for subtle texture. 

I ink-blended around the trees and roofline for contrast, then finished it off with a simple sentiment banner: “Season of Cheer”

It feels like a warm cabin glowing in the middle of a quiet snowfall :)

🎿 Card 2 – Winter Greetings

This one captures the fun and sporty side of winter! I used the Ski Lodge, Hit the Slopes, Streamline embossing folder along with the Christmas Greetings Etched Dies.

I added the adorable skier die cut, surrounded by evergreens dusted with ink-blended greens. The sentiment “Winter Greetings” is stacked in soft pastels with a touch of shimmer to bring in that frosty, magical light. I used a soft ombré blend of blue, lilac, and pink for the sky to give it that crisp winter morning vibe.

🎄 Card 3 – Happy New Year

For the final card, I went bold and bright! I used the Ski Lodge, Streamline embossing folder along with the Mistletoe Greetings from the previous release, which I used my glimmer to hot foil.

A pink A-frame cabin sits against a rich red background, dotted with white splatters to mimic falling snow. I love how the mix of warm pinks and cool greens gives a festive, slightly retro holiday feel. The banner saying “Happy New Year” ties it all together — cheerful and full of hope for new beginnings.

I had so much fun playing with this collection — it’s the perfect mix of cozy and creative!

Halloween cutie ghosts

Buonasera creative, eccomi qui con una card di Halloween! 

Personalmente non é una festività che festeggio, ma adoro questi fantasmini, sono cosi carini!!! 

Ho usato la fustella di Hero Arts Boo to you per creare questi fantasmi.

Per lo sfondo ho usato un cartoncino verde acceso dal set Halloween cardstock di Spellbinders , dove ho posizionato lo stencil Shatter per creare un effetto ragnatela ed ho usato gli oxide : rustic wilderness e black sooth. Ho creato anche delle macchiette nere con la boccetta di inchiostro di Spellbinders Raven.

Infine per completare la card ho aggiunto il sentiment Boo, ricavano con ABC's finley di Lawnfawn.

Good evening, crafters! Here I am with a Halloween card! 

Personally, it's not a holiday I celebrate, but I love these little ghosts, they're so cute!!! 

I used the Hero Arts Boo to You die to create these ghosts.

For the background, I used bright green cardstock from the Spellbinders Halloween cardstock set, where I placed the Shatter stencil to create a spider web effect and used rustic wilderness and black sooth oxides. I also created some black spots with Spellbinders Raven ink.

Finally, to complete the card, I added the sentiment Boo, cut out with Lawnfawn's ABC's Finley.

Wedding card

Hello crafty friends

 

Today’s card is a wedding card. Here I’m going to show you how you can stretch you supplies. It’s always good the make the most out of our stuff. This time I use the Layered Hydrangea. This die set creates the most gorgeous Hydrangea. But it also cuts a lot of flowers at once. So, I decided to cut the flowers in three different shades and sizes.

Then I cut a square with the Spellbinders Rectangle Die and added the flowers on two corners. I added more and more until it looked really full. As sentiment I cut some letters from gold cardstock and wrote Mr & Mrs. so I can use it for a wedding. I used the same gold cardstock to cut the center of my flowers, so it matches well.

Die heutige Karte ist eine Hochzeitskarte. Hier zeige ich euch, wie ihr eure Bastelmaterialien optimal nutzen könnt. Es ist immer gut, das Beste aus unseren Sachen herauszuholen. Dieses Mal verwende ich die Stanze „Layered Hydrangea“. Mit diesem Stanzset lassen sich wunderschöne Hortensien stanzen. Allerdings stanzt es auch viele Blumen auf einmal. Deshalb habe ich mich entschieden, die Blumen in drei verschiedenen Farbtönen und Größen zu stanzen. Dann habe ich mit der Spellbinders Rectangle Die ein Quadrat ausgeschnitten und die Blumen an zwei Ecken angebracht. Ich habe immer mehr hinzugefügt, bis es wirklich voll aussah. Als Spruch habe ich einige Buchstaben aus goldenem Karton ausgeschnitten und „Mr & Mrs” geschrieben, damit ich die Karte für eine Hochzeit verwenden kann. Ich habe denselben goldenen Karton verwendet, um die Mitte meiner Blumen auszuschneiden, damit alles gut zusammenpasst.

Bonjour les amis créatifs

 

La carte d'aujourd'hui est une carte de mariage. Je vais vous montrer comment vous pouvez tirer le meilleur parti de votre matériel. Il est toujours bon de maximiser l'utilisation de nos ressources. Cette fois-ci, j'utilise le die Layered Hydrangea. Ce die permet de créer de magnifiques hortensias. Mais il permet également de découper plusieurs fleurs à la fois. J'ai donc décidé de découper les fleurs en trois nuances et tailles différentes. J'ai ensuite découpé un carré à l'aide du die Spellbinders Rectangle Die et j'ai ajouté les fleurs sur deux coins. J'en ai ajouté de plus en plus jusqu'à ce que le résultat soit vraiment fourni. Pour le message, j'ai découpé quelques lettres dans du papier cartonné doré et j'ai écrit « Mr & Mrs » afin de pouvoir l'utiliser pour un mariage. J'ai utilisé le même papier cartonné doré pour découper le centre de mes fleurs, afin que cela s'accorde bien.
