Buongiorno Creative, come state? 

In battibaleno siamo già arrivate ad agosto! Con il grande caldo estivo di quest'anno, non ho avuto l'energie di creare card, ma dopo un giorno trascorso con un'amica cardmaker, mi é ritornata il craft mojo!

Per chi mi conosce, sa che ho un gran debole per i gatti, quindi non ho resistito ed ho preso questo timbro di  L'encre et l'image Heureux comme un chat au jardin. Non trovate adorabili i due micetti in questo set? Io li adoro!!!

Ho timbrato i mici sulla carta apposita per la colorazione con i marker ad alcool e li ho colorati con i Copic markers. 

In seguito ho pensato che sarebbe stata una buona idea "incorniciare" il gattino e quindi ho usato il nuovo embossing folder di Spellbinders Ornate Molded frame 3D .

How are you all doing?

Before we knew it, it’s already August! With this year’s intense summer heat, I didn’t have the energy to make cards, but after spending a day with a fellow cardmaker friend, my crafting mojo is back!

Anyone who knows me knows I have a huge soft spot for cats, so I couldn’t resist and picked up this stamp set from L’encre et l’image called “Heureux comme un chat au jardin.” Don’t you think the two kittens in this set are adorable? I absolutely love them!!!

I stamped the kittens onto paper designed for coloring with alcohol markers and colored them with Copic markers.

Then I thought it would be a good idea to “frame” the kitten, so I used the new Spellbinders “Ornate Molded Frame 3D” embossing folder.

Per restare in tema del soggetto della mia card, il gatto nel vaso di fiori, ho pensato di usare lo stencil della Lawnfawn Daisy bloom outline background con il tampone bianco Yeti ed ho creato delle macchie dorate e pitturato il bordo della cornice con la Nuvo Sparkle Spray.

To stay on theme with the subject of my card—the cat in the vase of flowers—I decided to use the Lawnfawn Daisy Bloom Outline Background stencil with the white Yeti ink pad, and I created some golden splotches and painted the edge of the frame with Nuvo Sparkle Spray.

Infine un nel sentiment foilizzato e voilà , card pronta!

Floral Day Dream

 

Buongiorno creative, 

come state? 

Questo caldo improvviso vi ha travolto? Devo dire che mi ha colto alla sprovvista, e di solito mi viene molta stanchezza quando é così caldo, ma nonostante tutto mi sono sentita super ispirata da questo set di Pinkfresh Studio Floral Day Dream che ho creato in diverse varianti , che vi mostrerò prossimamente su instagram. :D

Per adesso ecco qui la versione Green! Mi son divertita a giocare con diverse tonalità di verde ed ho colpo ispirazione dalle cards fatte dal design team di Pinkfresh.

Ho usato il timbro, stencil e fustella del set Floral day dream.

Ho colorato i fiori con 2 inchiostri verdi di Pinkfresh Studio, evergreen e fresh pear, ed usando pressioni differenti con il blending tool, ho ottenuto sfumature differenti.

Per entrambi gli sfondi delle due cards ho usato i ritagli ottenuti dalla fustella di Spellbinders Infinity Punch&Pierce Plate. La card che vedete a destra invece ho aggiunto in più un cartoncino bianco embossato con un 3d embossing folder di Lisa Horton ed abbellito con il sentiment di Spellbinders Layered Happy Birthday etches dies.

how are you? 

Has this sudden heatwave caught you off guard? I have to say it took me by surprise, and I usually get really tired when it’s this hot, but despite everything, I felt super inspired by this Pinkfresh Studio Floral Day Dream set, which I’ve created in several variations—I’ll be showing them to you soon on Instagram. :D

For now, here’s the Green version! I had fun playing with different shades of green and drew inspiration from the cards made by the Pinkfresh design team.

I used the stamp, stencil, and die from the Floral Day Dream set.

I colored the flowers with two green inks from Pinkfresh Studio, Evergreen and Fresh Pear, and by applying different pressures with the blending tool, I achieved various shades.

For the backgrounds of both cards, I used the cutouts from the Spellbinders Infinity Punch & Pierce Plate die. On the card you see on the right, I also added a white cardstock piece embossed with a 3D embossing folder by Lisa Horton and embellished with the sentiment from the Spellbinders Layered Happy Birthday Etches Dies.

Mice Flowers Card

Oggi sono qui sul blog di Scraphouse per mostrarvi questa card fatta con l'ausilio della nuova release della Lawnfawn che potete trovare cliccando qui. Purtroppo un po' di cose sono già sold out, ma sono sicura che qualcosa che vi attira lo troverete sicuramente. Come ho preparato questa card? ho cominciato a fustellare la cornice del set Workshop Backdrop Landscape Dies usando un cartoncino beige effetto legno Woodgrain cardstock light brown.  Questa fustella é perfetta usata con il set Mice tools, però ho voluto dargli un tocco differente e quindi ho usato il set di timbri Mice Flowers. Una volta colorati con i marker ad alcool, in questo caso ho usato gli OLO, ho posizionato i personaggi nei "cassettini". Visto che volevo tenere un look abbastanza pulito per lo sfondo ho sfumato poco poco il color Bundled sage degli Oxide ink.Vi piace come é venuta la card?

How are you?
Today I’m here on the Scraphouse blog to show you this card I made using the new Lawnfawn release, which you can find by clicking here. Unfortunately, some items are already sold out, but I’m sure you’ll find something that catches your eye. How did I make this card? I started by die-cutting the frame from the Workshop Backdrop Landscape Dies set using light brown woodgrain cardstock.  This die is perfect for use with the Mice Tools set, but I wanted to give it a different touch, so I used the Mice Flowers stamp set instead. Once colored with alcohol markers—in this case, I used OLO markers—I placed the characters in the “little boxes.” Since I wanted to keep the background looking fairly clean, I lightly blended the Bundled Sage color from Oxide inks. Do you like how the card turned out?

Tupips and Daffodils Card

Oggi vi mostro questa card usando la nuova collezione disegnata da Yana Smakulaper Spellbinders. Il set che ho usato comprende una press plate e lo stencil coordinato Tulips and Daffodils.

How are you? 

Today I’m showing you this card made with the new collection designed by Yana Smakulaper for Spellbinders. The set I used includes a press plate and the matching “Tulips and Daffodils” stencils.

Ho preparato con la hot foil machine 4 stampe , di cui 3 colorate con i Copic markers, mentre quella in basso a destra l'ho colorato con i Distress Oxide aiutandomi son gli stencil del set. Una volta confrontate le varie colorazioni, ho deciso di scegliere l'immagine che più ritenevo idonea con uno sfondo nero. Una volta riagliati i bordi del mazzo di fiori, le parte rimanenti bianche le ho colorate con un marker nero.

I created four foiled card using the hot foil machine, three of which I colored with Copic markers, while I colored the one in the bottom right corner with Distress Oxide ink, using the stencils from the set. After comparing the different color schemes, I decided to choose the image I thought worked best with a black background. After trimming the edges of the bouquet, I colored the remaining white areas with a black marker.

Infine ho usato l'embossing folder Molded frame con un cartoncino nero per creare lo sfondo ed ho fatto degli schizzi dorati con dell'acquarello oro ed aggiunto un sentiment foilizzato dal set  Betterpress foil and die Bouquet of Hugs.

Finally, I used the Molded Frame embossing folder with black cardstock to create the background, added some gold splashes using gold watercolor paint, and included a foil-stamped sentiment from the Betterpress Foil and Die Bouquet of Hugs set.

Pinkfresh studio Fragrance notes

Today I’m here to show you these two cards made with the new products from Pinkfresh Studio.

 Dal loro sito ufficiale potete ammirare la varietà di card che hanno creato con questo prodotti. Le cards del loro design team sono una più bella dell'altra. Ammetto che quando poi vedo così tante belle card poi un po' mi blocco perchè non vorrei creare qualcosa di "mio" senza farmi influenzare. Quindi ho deciso di fare svariati test su cartoncini di base di colori differenti, ed alla fine quello che mi é piaciuto di più era la combinazione con carta d'acquarello grigia della Canson.

I materiali che usato sono i seguenti:

- Pinkfresh Studio Fragrance notes press plate , Fragrance notes die  e Fragrance notes stencil.

- Distress Oxide Tattered rose, Saltwater taffy, Bundled sage, Speckled egg.

 On their official website, you can see the variety of cards they’ve created with these products. The cards designed by their design team are each more beautiful than the last. I admit that when I see so many beautiful cards, I get a little stuck because I don’t want to create something “of my own” without being influenced. So I decided to do several tests on different colored cardstock, and in the end, what I liked best was the combination with Canson gray watercolor paper.

The materials I used are as follows:

- Pinkfresh Studio Fragrance Notes press plate, Fragrance Notes die, and Fragrance Notes stencil.

- Distress Oxide Tattered Rose, Saltwater Taffy, Bundled Sage, Speckled Egg.

In questa prima card ho usato tutti i 4 Oxide con gli stencil sia per creare lo sfondo sia per colorare i fiori. Ho ritagliato un cerchio ed inserito delle pailettes per creare una shaker card e sullo sfondo dietro alla "finestran"ho sfumato su un cartoncino bianco l'oxide Tattered rose e Saltwater taffy.

For this first card, I used all four Oxide inks with stencils to create both the background and to color the flowers. I cut out a circle and added sequins to create a shaker card, and on the background behind the “window,” I blended Tattered Rose and Saltwater Taffy Oxide inks onto white cardstock.

Invece con la seconda card i fiori li ho colorati come la card precedente, ma lo sfondo invece ho usato solo Tattered rose e Saltwater taffy e poi creato degli schizzi di nero con l'inchiostro Raven di Spellbinders.

For the second card, I colored the flowers the same way as on the previous card, but for the background I used only Tattered Rose and Saltwater Taffy, and then added some black splatters using Spellbinders Raven ink.

Thinking of you card

Eccomi qui oggi fiera di mostrarvi questa card. Nell'ultimo periodo son stata un po' bloccata con la creatività. Dopo tutti questi anni non son ancora riuscita a trovare uno stile che sento mio. Mi trovo attratta da card semplici con pochi elementi e piano piano sto cercando il giusto equilibrio.

Qui ho usato le novità della Lawnfawn. Ho usato la plancia I like big butterflies e la fustella Build a wheelbarrow e le ho colorate con i miei marker ad alcool.

How are you? I hope everything is going well!

Here I am today, proud to show you this card. Lately, I've been feeling a bit stuck creatively. After all these years, I still haven't managed to find a style that feels like my own. I find myself drawn to simple cards with few elements, and I'm slowly trying to find the right balance.

Here I used the new Lawnfawn products. I used the I Like Big Butterflies stamp set and the Build a Wheelbarrow die and colored them with my alcohol markers.

 

Su un foglio d'acquarello ho creato lo sfondo con lo stencil Sunray Background sempre della Lawnfawn sfumando il tampone Oxide Antique Linen .

Infine ho creato una mattatura usando un foglio del Pad Blissful blossoms.

On a sheet of watercolor paper, I created the background using the Sunray Background stencil, also by Lawnfawn, blending in Oxide Antique Linen ink.

Finally, I created a mat using a sheet from the Blissful Blossoms pad.

Just for You Hydrangea card

come state? eccomi qui con questa card usando alcune novità nello shop di Scraphouse.Adoro le piante d'ortensie, mi mettono sempre di buon umore, quindi ho adorato creare questa card. Ho usato la fustella di Hero Arts Layered Hydrangea etched dies con le carte Colorwheel di Spellbiders  , ed ho fatto un po' di schizzi perlati con Sparkle splatter effects.

L'ultimo strato di fiorellini li ho ricavati da del vellum perlato della Tonic studio.

Good morning, creative folks, 

how are you? Here I am with this card using some new items from the Scraphouse shop. I love hydrangeas, they always put me in a good mood, so I loved creating this card. I used the Hero Arts Layered Hydrangea etched dies with Spellbinders Colorwheel papers, and I made some pearlescent splatters with Sparkle splatter effects.

The last layer of flowers was made from pearlescent vellum by Tonic Studio.

Per lo sfondo della mia card ho usato la press plate Sweeping script sentiments e creato altri schizzi ma stavolta con il nero Raven splatter effects.

Japanese Cherry Blossom

oggi vi mostro queste due card fatte con le novità di Spellbinders che potete trovare sul sito di Scraphouse!

Non son stupendi questi fiori di ciliegio? Li adoro! Ho usato la press plate Cherry blossoms spring in Kyoto per foilizzare in oro ed in nero. Una volta ritagliato i fiori con la loro apposita fustella, li ho colorati con dei marker ad alcohol, in questo caso gli OLO.

Today I show you these two cards made with new Spellbinders that you can find on the Scraphouse website!

Aren't these cherry blossoms gorgeous? I love them! I used the Cherry blossoms spring press plate in Kyoto to foil in gold and black. Once I cut out the flowers with their appropriate die cut, I colored them with alcohol markers, in this case OLOs.

Per questa prima card preso un cartoncino viola ed embossato con il 3D embossing folder Molded frame , nella parte inferiore ho sfumato l'inchiostro Regal kiss di Pinkfresh studio, creato delle macchie dorate con un'acquarello oro e marcato i bordi del frame con una gel pen dorata.

For this first card I took a purple cardstock and embossed it with the 3D embossing folder Molded frame , at the bottom I blended Regal kiss ink from Pinkfresh studio, created gold flecks with a gold watercolor and marked the edges of the frame with a gold gel pen.

invece per questa seconda card , ho usato un embossing folder differente, Floral fans spring in Kyoto , e passato sulla parte in rilievo l'inchiostro Ballet slippers di Pinkfresh Studio. come puoi notare dall' immagine sottostante, ho embossato solo un angolo del mio cartoncino.

instead for this second card , I used a different embossing folder, Floral fans spring in Kyoto , and passed on the embossed part the Ballet slippers ink from Pinkfresh Studio. as you can see from the 'image below, I embossed only one corner of my card.

Beautiful soul - Pinkfresh Studio

 

Buongiorno creative!

come state? spero bene! Sono così felice di mostrarti questa card oggi perché ho usato il nuovo timbro di Pinkfresh studio Beautiful Soul, disegnato da Isha Gupta! Trovo i suoi design molto delicati e fini e sono cosi fiera di far parte del design team di Scraphouse insieme ad Isha!

Ho posizionato il timbro dei fiori su Sizzix stamp & spin tool per poter creare una ghirlanda. Il timbro dei fiori é composto da due rami, ed ho inchiostrato solo quello più corto e l'ho fatto roteare ottenendo il motivo come da foto. Poi ho timbrato al centro il sentiment ed il timbro Cercle eclatant di Florileges design con l'inchiostro per embossare a caldo per poter embossare la polvere Metallic gold rich di WOW embossing powders.

Good morning crafters!

how are you? hope well! I am so happy to show you this card today because I used the new Pinkfresh studio Beautiful Soul stamp, designed by Isha Gupta! I find her designs very delicate and fine and I am so proud to be part of the Scraphouse design team along with Isha!

I placed the flower stamp on Sizzix stamp & spin tool in order to create a garland. The flower stamp consists of two branches, and I inked only the shorter one and twirled it getting the pattern as pictured. Then I stamped in the center the sentiment and the Cercle eclatant stamp from Florileges Design with hot embossing ink in order to emboss the Metallic gold rich powder from WOW embossing powders.

A parte ho timbrato altri fiori con il Memento London fog e colorato con lo stencil abbinato , Beautiful soul stencil. Per i fiori ho usato gli inchiostri di Pinkfresh Studio Candy violet e Regal kiss, mentre le foglie e lo stelo con gli inchiostri di Altenew Lime e Reindeer Moss. Una volta colorato tutto ho proceduto a ritagliarmi con la fustella coordinata.

Un volta posizionato i rametti mi sembrava che mancasse qualcosa, quindi nei due angoli ho ritimbrato i rami e sfumato con i colori che ho usato per la composizione dei fiori.

Separately I stamped more flowers with the memento London fog and colored with the matching stencil , Beautiful soul stencil. For the flowers I used Pinkfresh Studio Candy violet and Regal kiss inks, and the leaves and stem with Altenew Lime and Reindeer Moss inks. Once everything was colored, I proceeded to cut out with the coordinating die cut.

Once the sprigs were placed I felt like something was missing, so in the two corners I re-trimmed the branches and shaded with the colors I used for the flower arrangement.

Quick Cards using Betterpress Florals Through the Year Bundle

sono qui oggi per mostrarvi queste 3 card usando le press plate Florals Through the Year Bundle. Trovo che questi fiori siano proprio carini e delicati e si posson creare card semplici e veloci, e non solo per il creare le pagine del calendario annuale.

Good morning crafty friends, 

I am here today to show you these 3 cards using the Florals Through the Year Bundle press plates. I find that these flowers are just so pretty and delicate and you can make quick and easy cards, and not just for creating the annual calendar pages.

Questa prima card ho usato un washi tape finissimo per contortare i bordi che volevo restassero bianchi ed in un secondo momento ho colorato lo sfondo con i distress inks : Spun sugar, Shaded lilac e Cracked pistachio. Poi con un pennello d'acquarello ho spruzzato delle macchie d'acqua per dare allo sfondo un po' di interesse. Con un fineliner nero ho contornato il fiore e il rettangolo bianco ed ho completato con un sentiment in italiano della Press plate Italian sentiments.

This first card I used a very fine washi tape to contort the edges that I wanted to remain white and in a second step I colored the background with distress inks : Spun sugar, Shaded lilac and Cracked pistachio. Then with a watercolor brush I sprayed water spots to give the background some interest. With a black fineliner I outlined the flower and the white rectangle and completed with a Press plate Italian sentiment.

  

Questa seconda card ho creato uno sfondo arcobaleno acquarellato con i Karin markers e aggiunto dei puntini dorati sui fiori con un fineliner dorato.

This second card I created a watercolor rainbow background with Karin markers and added gold dots on the flowers with a gold fineliner.

Infine la mia terza card ho aquarellato dei cerchi viola e rosa e sprayato con il Distress Spritz Worn Lipstick .

Flower cart etched dies

spero che stiate bene! Oggi voglio parlarvi delle difficoltà che ho avuto a creare queste 3 card. Appena ho visto questa fustella di Spellbinders Flower cart etched dies son rimasta ammaliata e non vedevo l'ora di poterla usare. Una volta visto il numero delle fustelle son andata un po' in confusione senza sapere che colori abbinare insieme. Così ho cercato su google una foto di riferimento per aiutarmi al progetto. Ecco qui la foto che alla quale mi son ispirata. Una volta ritagliato i pezzi ed assemblato il carretto, mi son accorta che facevo fatica a bilanciare gli elementi neri e bianchi e che per avere un bel risultato bisogna davvero fare attenzione che nessuno dei due colori predomini sul progetto.

I hope you are doing well! Today I want to tell you about the difficulties I had in creating these 3 cards. As soon as I saw this Spellbinders Flower cart die etched dies I was hooked and couldn't wait to be able to use it. Once I saw the number of dies I got a little confused not knowing what colors to match together. So I googled for a reference photo to help me with the project. Here is the photo I was inspired by. Once I cut out the pieces and assembled the cart, I realized that I was having a hard time balancing the black and white elements and that to get a nice result you really have to be careful that neither color predominates on the project.

Ecco qui la mia prima versione e dove ho realizzato che non era così semplice equilibrare il nero e bianco. Per lo sfondo ho usato la Press plate Floral celebration senza inchiostro e ritagliato con la fustella Notched corner frames etched dies.

Here is my first version and where I realized it was not so easy to balance the black and white. For the background I used Press plate Floral celebration without ink and cut out with Notched corner frames etched dies.

La seconda versione e la terza ero più cosciente e sono riuscita a trovare la soluzione molto poi in fretta.

The second version and the third version I was more conscious and was able to find the solution very then quickly.

Playing with distress reinkers

anche stavolta vi mostro una card usando l'embossing folder Blooming butterfly di Spellbinders, ma utilizzando la parte floreale. Ho usato un pezzo di vellum ed una volta embossato ho colorato con l'inchiostro rose gold di altenew e uno nero le parti in rilievo.

once again I show you a card using the

from Spellbinders, but using the floral part. I used a piece of vellum and once embossed I colored the embossed parts with altenew's rose gold ink and a black one.

In seguito usando un cartoncino d'acquarello, con un pennello ho bagnato la carta e poi lasciato scivolare una goccia di colore del Distress ink reinker in modo da far colare il colore per tutto il cartoncino. Ho ripetuto questo passaggio con i colori: dried marigold ,  squeezed lemonade, shabby shutters, peacock feathers, wilted violet, seedless preserves and picked raspberry.

Next using a watercolor card, I wet the paper with a brush and then let a drop of color from the Distress ink reinker slide in so that the color ran all over the card. I repeated this step with the colors: dried marigold , squeezed lemonade, shabby shutters, peacock feathers, wilted violet, seedless preserves and picked raspberry.

Per completare la mia card ho incollato il vellum , timbrato un sentiment dal set Crafty life stamp di Altenew ed incollato una farfalla di Spellbinders.

Poppy Background betterpress and stencil

Buona sera carissime crafter!

 Come state? spero tutto bene! Sono entusiasta di mostrarvi questa card stasera! La plate Poppy Background mi piaceva da parecchio ed é tornata disponibile nello shop.

Come mio solito ho voluto usare la press plate per foilizzare! Ho fatto svariate prove con differenti colorazioni di foil e alla fine per questo progetto ho optato per la versione in rosa pastello del set  Satin Pastel Pack.

Volevo creare un look tono su tono e quindi con lo stencil annesso, ho usato ho colorato i fiori con il Distress ink Victorian Velvet e le foglie con Bundled sage e Peeled paint. Mi piace moltissimo il contrasto creato dalla colorazione dei distress con lo sfondo lucido del foil! Voi cosa ne pensate?

Per completare la mia cardo ho usato la fustellata Hello dal set Little Hello Clear stamp etched dies.

Good evening dear crafters! 

How are you? hope all is well! I am excited to show you this card tonight! I have liked the Poppy Background plate for quite a while and it is back available in the shop.

As my usual I wanted to use the press plate to foil! I did several trials with different colors of foil and finally for this project I opted for the pastel pink version of the Satin Pastel Pack set.

I wanted to create a tone-on-tone look and so with the stencil attached, I used I colored the flowers with Distress ink Victorian Velvet and the leaves with Bundled sage and Peeled paint. I really like the contrast created by the distress coloring with the shiny foil background! What do you guys think?

To complete my thistle I used the Hello die cut from the Little Hello Clear stamp etched dies set.
