Season of sparkle

 

Ciao creative, come state? spero tutto bene! Dopo questa lunga estate, son felice di partire finalmente per le vacanze!! Ma prima di partire voglio mostrarvi un'altra card natalizia! Son tanto carini questi nuovi timbri di AALL&Create! Qui ho colorato con i Copic markers il timbro Season of sparkle.

Per lo sfondo invece ho usato il 3D embossing folder di Spellbinders Holiday Lights. Ho voluto dare un po' di luce e con il tampone di Lisa Horton Solid Gold, ho colorato le parti in rilievo.

Hi, crafters! How are you? I hope everything’s going well! After this long summer, I’m so happy to finally be heading off on vacation!! But before I go, I want to show you another Christmas card! These new stamps from AALL&Create are so cute! Here, I colored the “Season of Sparkle” stamp with Copic markers.

For the background, I used the Spellbinders “Holiday Lights” 3D embossing folder. I wanted to add a little sparkle, so I used Lisa Horton’s “Solid Gold” ink pad to color the embossed areas.

Spectacular Bear Etched Dies from Spellbinders

 

Buongiorno creativa, come stai? Spero tutto bene!

Eccomi qui oggi ha mostrarti queste 5 card natalizie usando la fustella Spectacular Bear Etched Dies di Spellbinders. L'ho trovata subito pazzescamente carina, e quando vedo qualcosa che mi piace tanto lo immagino subito con differenti combinazioni di colori. Cosa ne pensi? Qual'è la tua preferita?

Ad ogni dettaglio colorato dell'orso ( cuffia, sciarpa,ecc) ho deci di abbinare sfondi diversi. Tranne per la prima card con lo sfondo rosso dove ho usato un timbro di sfondo e della polvere da embossing dorata, gli altri sfondi sono stati fatti con la glimmer machine, quindi sono stati foilizzati.

I’m here today to show you these 5 Christmas cards made using the Spectacular Bear Etched Dies from Spellbinders. I thought it was absolutely adorable right away, and when I see something I really like, I immediately imagine it in different color combinations. What do you think? Which one is your favorite?

For each colorful detail on the bear (hat, scarf, etc.), I decided to pair it with a different background. Except for the first card with the red background—where I used a background stamp and gold embossing powder—the other backgrounds were created with the Glimmer Machine, so they have a foil finish.

Christmas cats

Buongiorno Card makers, 

come state? 

Nonostante questa estate caldissima che sembra non finire mai, é ora di pensare al Natale! Quindi eccomi qui con le mie prime due card natalizie, restando sempre sulla scia di una cat lover.:D 

Questa volta, anziché un timbro, ho usato il nuovo set di fustelle di Spellbinders Christmas cats etched dies combinandolo con un altro set vecchio Delivering joy etched dies. 

Ho voluto ricreare una scena dove il gatto, invece di arrampicarsi su un albero di Natale, lo facesse su una pila di regali che ne ricordasse la forma.

Per dare alla card un tocco speciale, ho usato il 3 d embossing folder Diamond blocks come sfondo.

Even though this scorching summer seems to go on forever, it’s time to start thinking about Christmas! So here I am with my first two Christmas cards, staying true to my cat-loving style. :D

This time, instead of a stamp, I used the new Spellbinders “Christmas Cats Etched Dies” set, combining it with another older set, “Delivering Joy Etched Dies.”

I wanted to recreate a scene where the cat, instead of climbing a Christmas tree, climbs a stack of presents shaped like one.

To give the card a special touch, I used the “Diamond Blocks” 3D embossing folder as the background.

Invece per la seconda car ho usato un 3d Embossing differente , Herringbone decor. 

Cosa ne pensate? Quale dei due vi ha colpito di più?

Heureux comme un chat au jardin

Buongiorno Creative, come state? 

In battibaleno siamo già arrivate ad agosto! Con il grande caldo estivo di quest'anno, non ho avuto l'energie di creare card, ma dopo un giorno trascorso con un'amica cardmaker, mi é ritornata il craft mojo!

Per chi mi conosce, sa che ho un gran debole per i gatti, quindi non ho resistito ed ho preso questo timbro di  L'encre et l'image Heureux comme un chat au jardin. Non trovate adorabili i due micetti in questo set? Io li adoro!!!

Ho timbrato i mici sulla carta apposita per la colorazione con i marker ad alcool e li ho colorati con i Copic markers. 

In seguito ho pensato che sarebbe stata una buona idea "incorniciare" il gattino e quindi ho usato il nuovo embossing folder di Spellbinders Ornate Molded frame 3D .

How are you all doing?

Before we knew it, it’s already August! With this year’s intense summer heat, I didn’t have the energy to make cards, but after spending a day with a fellow cardmaker friend, my crafting mojo is back!

Anyone who knows me knows I have a huge soft spot for cats, so I couldn’t resist and picked up this stamp set from L’encre et l’image called “Heureux comme un chat au jardin.” Don’t you think the two kittens in this set are adorable? I absolutely love them!!!

I stamped the kittens onto paper designed for coloring with alcohol markers and colored them with Copic markers.

Then I thought it would be a good idea to “frame” the kitten, so I used the new Spellbinders “Ornate Molded Frame 3D” embossing folder.

Per restare in tema del soggetto della mia card, il gatto nel vaso di fiori, ho pensato di usare lo stencil della Lawnfawn Daisy bloom outline background con il tampone bianco Yeti ed ho creato delle macchie dorate e pitturato il bordo della cornice con la Nuvo Sparkle Spray.

To stay on theme with the subject of my card—the cat in the vase of flowers—I decided to use the Lawnfawn Daisy Bloom Outline Background stencil with the white Yeti ink pad, and I created some golden splotches and painted the edge of the frame with Nuvo Sparkle Spray.

Infine un nel sentiment foilizzato e voilà , card pronta!

Make Lemonade!

Buongiorno cardmaker, come state? Spero tutto bene!

Oggi sono qui sul Blog a mostrarvi questa pop up card a tema limoni! Sono così adorabili questi topini, vero? Ho usato prevalentemente tutti i prodotti della Lawnfawn . 

Ho deciso di usare una delle loro fustelle interattive perché mi sembrava potesse diventare carino e divertente creare qualcosa che man mano prende vita mentre la componi.

Ho cominciato nel colorare i timbri del set Make Lemonade con i marker ad alcool, e poi in seguito ho pensato che la base della card poteva esser verde per richiamare le foglie dei limoni.

Ho usato la Pop up platform die con un cartoncino verde e per il cielo ho usato uni azzurro con una fustella add-on della platform die. Visto che il cielo lo volevo un po' più altro non ho fustellato completamente , come si può vedere da foto, e poi la lunghezza lo ricavata a mio piacimento. Inoltre per lo sfondo ho usato la slimline Forest border e lo stencil Stratus Cloud Background.

Today I’m here on the blog to show you this lemon-themed pop-up card! These little mice are so adorable, aren’t they? I used mostly Lawnfawn products. 

I decided to use one of their interactive dies because I thought it would be cute and fun to create something that gradually comes to life as you assemble it.

I started by coloring the stamps from the “Make Lemonade” set with alcohol markers, and then I decided the card’s base should be green to match the lemon leaves.

I used the Pop-Up Platform die with green cardstock, and for the sky I used light blue cardstock with an add-on die from the Platform die set. Since I wanted the sky to be a little taller, I didn’t die-cut it all the way through—as you can see in the photo—and then I trimmed it to the length I wanted. I also used the Slimline Forest Border and the Stratus Cloud Background stencil for the background.

Floral Day Dream

come state? 

Questo caldo improvviso vi ha travolto? Devo dire che mi ha colto alla sprovvista, e di solito mi viene molta stanchezza quando é così caldo, ma nonostante tutto mi sono sentita super ispirata da questo set di Pinkfresh Studio Floral Day Dream che ho creato in diverse varianti , che vi mostrerò prossimamente su instagram. :D

Per adesso ecco qui la versione Green! Mi son divertita a giocare con diverse tonalità di verde ed ho colpo ispirazione dalle cards fatte dal design team di Pinkfresh.

Ho usato il timbro, stencil e fustella del set Floral day dream.

Ho colorato i fiori con 2 inchiostri verdi di Pinkfresh Studio, evergreen e fresh pear, ed usando pressioni differenti con il blending tool, ho ottenuto sfumature differenti.

Per entrambi gli sfondi delle due cards ho usato i ritagli ottenuti dalla fustella di Spellbinders Infinity Punch&Pierce Plate. La card che vedete a destra invece ho aggiunto in più un cartoncino bianco embossato con un 3d embossing folder di Lisa Horton ed abbellito con il sentiment di Spellbinders Layered Happy Birthday etches dies.

how are you? 

Has this sudden heatwave caught you off guard? I have to say it took me by surprise, and I usually get really tired when it’s this hot, but despite everything, I felt super inspired by this Pinkfresh Studio Floral Day Dream set, which I’ve created in several variations—I’ll be showing them to you soon on Instagram. :D

For now, here’s the Green version! I had fun playing with different shades of green and drew inspiration from the cards made by the Pinkfresh design team.

I used the stamp, stencil, and die from the Floral Day Dream set.

I colored the flowers with two green inks from Pinkfresh Studio, Evergreen and Fresh Pear, and by applying different pressures with the blending tool, I achieved various shades.

For the backgrounds of both cards, I used the cutouts from the Spellbinders Infinity Punch & Pierce Plate die. On the card you see on the right, I also added a white cardstock piece embossed with a 3D embossing folder by Lisa Horton and embellished with the sentiment from the Spellbinders Layered Happy Birthday Etches Dies.

Garden Grace Pinkfresh Studio

come state? eccomi oggi qui sul blog di Scraphouse a mostrarvi questa card usando sempre quei meravigliosi Washi tape di Pinkfresh Studio.

Qui ho usato il set Garden Grace che comprende washi, fustella, timbro e stencil. Trovo che la resa del washi sia magnifica, mi piace davvero tanto, sicuramente proverò a realizzare con anche il timbro e lo stencil per cambiare colori.

Ma ora vi parlerò di come ho strutturato questa card. Ho cominciato fustellando la Cover plate die Stitched diamonds, che poi ho ritagliato a metà.  basandomi sulle misure di questi due rettangoli ho costruito cosi la base del cartoncino a "finestra".

How are you? I’m here today on the Scraphouse blog to show you this card, once again using those wonderful Washi tapes from Pinkfresh Studio.

Here I used the Garden Grace set, which includes washi tape, a die, a stamp, and a stencil. I think the washi tape looks absolutely stunning—I really love it. I’ll definitely try using the stamp and stencil too to experiment with different colors.

But now I’ll tell you how I put this card together. I started by die-cutting the Stitched Diamonds cover plate, which I then cut in half.  Using the measurements of these two rectangles, I built the base of the “window” card.

Visto che volevo assicurarmi che le due "ante" della mia card rimanessero chiuse, ho fissato una coppia di calamite la cerchio centrale della card (Fancy Circles) che ho fustellato 2 volte per poter poi coprire una delle due calamite, mentre la seconda calamita verra nascosta da uno dei pannelli rettangolari.

Since I wanted to make sure the two “flaps” of my card stayed closed, I attached a pair of magnets to the center circle of the card (Fancy Circles), which I die-cut twice so that I could cover one of the magnets, while the second magnet will be hidden by one of the rectangular panels.

Infine ho decorato con i fiori del Garden grade washi sia all'esterno della card e sia all'interno. Ho aggiunto dei sentiment foilizzati con la hot foil plate perfect sentiment. Cosa ne pensate, vi piace?

Finally, I decorated both the outside and inside of the card with flowers made from Garden Grade washi tape. I added some foil-stamped sentiments using the Perfect Sentiment hot foil plate. What do you think? Do you like it?

Whispering Daffodils Washi

 

Buongiorno anime creative!

come state? Innanzi tutto auguri a tutte le mamme! Dedico a tutte voi questa card floreale in onore di questa festività.

Ho usato la nuova collezione di Pinkfresh Studio Whispering Daffodils. 

Ho usato il Washi tape della collezione e fustellato i fiori con la loro fustella coordinata.

Per la composizione ho pensato che ci poteva stare con una cornice esagonale dorata che ho ricavato usando due fustelle di dimensioni diverse (una grande ed una più piccola ) del set Nested Hexagons. Ho usato ancora la fustella grande per ritagliare un esagono bianco che ho sfumato con il Distress Oxide Tattered rose, per usare come base dove incollare la cornicetta dorata.

Per rendere la card dinamica, ho deciso di usare la fustella Sparkling Diamonds, che gli da qual dettaglio in più alla card ma senza rubare la scena ai fiori. 

Infine ho aggiunto il sentiment che si trovava nel set di timbri coordinato ed ho aggiunto la scritta "mom" usando un timbro alfabeto della Lawnfawn.

How are you all? First of all, happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there! I’m dedicating this floral card to all of you in honor of this special day.
I used the new Whispering Daffodils collection from Pinkfresh Studio. 
I used the washi tape from the collection and die-cut the flowers with their matching die.
For the layout, I thought a gold hexagonal frame would work well, which I created using two dies of different sizes (one large and one smaller) from the Nested Hexagons set. I used the large die again to cut out a white hexagon that I distressed with Distress Oxide Tattered Rose, to use as a base for gluing the little gold frame onto.
To add some movement to the card, I decided to use the Sparkling Diamonds die, which adds that extra detail to the card without stealing the spotlight from the flowers.
Finally, I added the sentiment from the coordinating stamp set and added the word “mom” using a Lawnfawn alphabet stamp.

Spring Flowers Stencil card

Buongiorno cardmaker, 

come state? sono super felice di mostrarvi questa card realizzata con il nuovo stencil Spring Flowers della Lawn fawn! lo trovo carinissimooooooo!!! :D ho realizzato lo sfondo con i seguenti Distress Oxide: Victorian velvet e Shaded lilac per i fiori e per le foglie il Bundled sage. Invece per il pistillo ho usato la Solar paste Golden Hour per dargli quel tocco luccicante in più.

Good morning, cardmakers, 

how are you? I’m so excited to show you this card I made using the new Spring Flowers stencil from Lawn Fawn! I think it’s absolutely adorable!!! :D I created the background using the following Distress Oxide colors: Victorian Velvet and Shaded Lilac for the flowers, and Bundled Sage for the leaves. For the pistil, I used Golden Hour Solar Paste to give it that extra touch of sparkle.

Inoltre ho spalmato la Solar paste su un cartoncino bianco e lasciato da parte ad asciugare. Una volta asciugato bene, ho fustellato il sentiment Scripty thinking of you e poi aggiunto il suo Outline abbinato in rosa, lo stesso che usato anche per la mattatura. Per completare la card ho aggiungo in bannero con la scritta Friend e il topino dal set Mice Flowers.

Spero che lo stencil piacca a voi quanto piace a me!

I also spread Solar Paste onto a piece of white cardstock and set it aside to dry. Once it was completely dry, I die-cut the “Scripty Thinking of You” sentiment and then added its matching pink outline, the same one I used for the matte finish. To finish the card, I added a banner with the word “Friend” and the little mouse from the Mice Flowers set.

Mice Flowers Card

Oggi sono qui sul blog di Scraphouse per mostrarvi questa card fatta con l'ausilio della nuova release della Lawnfawn che potete trovare cliccando qui. Purtroppo un po' di cose sono già sold out, ma sono sicura che qualcosa che vi attira lo troverete sicuramente. Come ho preparato questa card? ho cominciato a fustellare la cornice del set Workshop Backdrop Landscape Dies usando un cartoncino beige effetto legno Woodgrain cardstock light brown.  Questa fustella é perfetta usata con il set Mice tools, però ho voluto dargli un tocco differente e quindi ho usato il set di timbri Mice Flowers. Una volta colorati con i marker ad alcool, in questo caso ho usato gli OLO, ho posizionato i personaggi nei "cassettini". Visto che volevo tenere un look abbastanza pulito per lo sfondo ho sfumato poco poco il color Bundled sage degli Oxide ink.Vi piace come é venuta la card?

Today I’m here on the Scraphouse blog to show you this card I made using the new Lawnfawn release, which you can find by clicking here. Unfortunately, some items are already sold out, but I’m sure you’ll find something that catches your eye. How did I make this card? I started by die-cutting the frame from the Workshop Backdrop Landscape Dies set using light brown woodgrain cardstock.  This die is perfect for use with the Mice Tools set, but I wanted to give it a different touch, so I used the Mice Flowers stamp set instead. Once colored with alcohol markers—in this case, I used OLO markers—I placed the characters in the “little boxes.” Since I wanted to keep the background looking fairly clean, I lightly blended the Bundled Sage color from Oxide inks. Do you like how the card turned out?

Tupips and Daffodils Card

Oggi vi mostro questa card usando la nuova collezione disegnata da Yana Smakulaper Spellbinders. Il set che ho usato comprende una press plate e lo stencil coordinato Tulips and Daffodils.

How are you? 

Today I’m showing you this card made with the new collection designed by Yana Smakulaper for Spellbinders. The set I used includes a press plate and the matching “Tulips and Daffodils” stencils.

Ho preparato con la hot foil machine 4 stampe , di cui 3 colorate con i Copic markers, mentre quella in basso a destra l'ho colorato con i Distress Oxide aiutandomi son gli stencil del set. Una volta confrontate le varie colorazioni, ho deciso di scegliere l'immagine che più ritenevo idonea con uno sfondo nero. Una volta riagliati i bordi del mazzo di fiori, le parte rimanenti bianche le ho colorate con un marker nero.

I created four foiled card using the hot foil machine, three of which I colored with Copic markers, while I colored the one in the bottom right corner with Distress Oxide ink, using the stencils from the set. After comparing the different color schemes, I decided to choose the image I thought worked best with a black background. After trimming the edges of the bouquet, I colored the remaining white areas with a black marker.

Infine ho usato l'embossing folder Molded frame con un cartoncino nero per creare lo sfondo ed ho fatto degli schizzi dorati con dell'acquarello oro ed aggiunto un sentiment foilizzato dal set  Betterpress foil and die Bouquet of Hugs.

Finally, I used the Molded Frame embossing folder with black cardstock to create the background, added some gold splashes using gold watercolor paint, and included a foil-stamped sentiment from the Betterpress Foil and Die Bouquet of Hugs set.

Pinkfresh studio Fragrance notes

Oggi sono qui per mostrarvi queste due card usando i nuovi prodotti di Pinkfresh Studio.

Today I’m here to show you these two cards made with the new products from Pinkfresh Studio.

 Dal loro sito ufficiale potete ammirare la varietà di card che hanno creato con questo prodotti. Le cards del loro design team sono una più bella dell'altra. Ammetto che quando poi vedo così tante belle card poi un po' mi blocco perchè non vorrei creare qualcosa di "mio" senza farmi influenzare. Quindi ho deciso di fare svariati test su cartoncini di base di colori differenti, ed alla fine quello che mi é piaciuto di più era la combinazione con carta d'acquarello grigia della Canson.

I materiali che usato sono i seguenti:

- Pinkfresh Studio Fragrance notes press plate , Fragrance notes die  e Fragrance notes stencil.

- Distress Oxide Tattered rose, Saltwater taffy, Bundled sage, Speckled egg.

 On their official website, you can see the variety of cards they’ve created with these products. The cards designed by their design team are each more beautiful than the last. I admit that when I see so many beautiful cards, I get a little stuck because I don’t want to create something “of my own” without being influenced. So I decided to do several tests on different colored cardstock, and in the end, what I liked best was the combination with Canson gray watercolor paper.

The materials I used are as follows:

- Pinkfresh Studio Fragrance Notes press plate, Fragrance Notes die, and Fragrance Notes stencil.

- Distress Oxide Tattered Rose, Saltwater Taffy, Bundled Sage, Speckled Egg.

In questa prima card ho usato tutti i 4 Oxide con gli stencil sia per creare lo sfondo sia per colorare i fiori. Ho ritagliato un cerchio ed inserito delle pailettes per creare una shaker card e sullo sfondo dietro alla "finestran"ho sfumato su un cartoncino bianco l'oxide Tattered rose e Saltwater taffy.

For this first card, I used all four Oxide inks with stencils to create both the background and to color the flowers. I cut out a circle and added sequins to create a shaker card, and on the background behind the “window,” I blended Tattered Rose and Saltwater Taffy Oxide inks onto white cardstock.

Invece con la seconda card i fiori li ho colorati come la card precedente, ma lo sfondo invece ho usato solo Tattered rose e Saltwater taffy e poi creato degli schizzi di nero con l'inchiostro Raven di Spellbinders.

For the second card, I colored the flowers the same way as on the previous card, but for the background I used only Tattered Rose and Saltwater Taffy, and then added some black splatters using Spellbinders Raven ink.

Thinking of you card

Buonasera creative! come state? spero tutto bene!

Eccomi qui oggi fiera di mostrarvi questa card. Nell'ultimo periodo son stata un po' bloccata con la creatività. Dopo tutti questi anni non son ancora riuscita a trovare uno stile che sento mio. Mi trovo attratta da card semplici con pochi elementi e piano piano sto cercando il giusto equilibrio.

Qui ho usato le novità della Lawnfawn. Ho usato la plancia I like big butterflies e la fustella Build a wheelbarrow e le ho colorate con i miei marker ad alcool.

Here I am today, proud to show you this card. Lately, I've been feeling a bit stuck creatively. After all these years, I still haven't managed to find a style that feels like my own. I find myself drawn to simple cards with few elements, and I'm slowly trying to find the right balance.

Here I used the new Lawnfawn products. I used the I Like Big Butterflies stamp set and the Build a Wheelbarrow die and colored them with my alcohol markers.

 

Su un foglio d'acquarello ho creato lo sfondo con lo stencil Sunray Background sempre della Lawnfawn sfumando il tampone Oxide Antique Linen .

Infine ho creato una mattatura usando un foglio del Pad Blissful blossoms.

On a sheet of watercolor paper, I created the background using the Sunray Background stencil, also by Lawnfawn, blending in Oxide Antique Linen ink.

Finally, I created a mat using a sheet from the Blissful Blossoms pad.

A Special Toast

 

Buona sera creative, come state? La mia prima card i quest'anno é a tema matrimonio! Lo scorso anno é uscita questa magnifica fustella di Spellbinders A special toast , ma essendo alle prese con le cards di natale, l'ho lasciata in disparte. Finalmente ho trovato l'occasione di usarla. Ho sempre un po'di difficoltà quando una fustella ha tanti piccoli dettagli perché non so mai che colori combinare insieme. In questo caso ho usato le carte base di Spellbinders per esser sicura che si abbinassero bene insieme. 

Ho scelto 3 verdi differenti per le foglie e in colori sul rosa-rosso per i fiori.

Invece per lo sfondo ho usato la hot foil plate di Pinkfresh studio LushVines con del foil dorato per dargli un tocco elegante alla card.

Good evening, crafters, how are you? 

My first card this year is wedding-themed! Last year, Spellbinders released this magnificent die cut, A Special Toast, but since I was busy with Christmas cards, I left it aside. Finally, I found the opportunity to use it. I always have a little trouble when a die cut has lots of small details because I never know which colors to combine. In this case, I used Spellbinders base cards to make sure they would match well together. 

I chose three different greens for the leaves and pink-red colors for the flowers.

For the background, I used Pinkfresh Studio's LushVines hot foil plate with gold foil to give the card an elegant touch.
