Bonjour!

J'espère que vous avez bien commencé la semaine. Ici, c'est sous la grisaille... Mais ça ne me dérange pas, nous sommes en novembre, on ne peut pas se plaindre, il a fait beau assez longtemps.

J'ai réalisé cette carte il y a quelques jours pour l'une de mes DT, mais comme le tampon de My Favorite Things vient de Scraphouse, je vous la montre ici. 

Vous trouverez le set de tampons en boutique (cliquez sur l'image), mais dépêchez-vous, il ne reste que quelques pièces!

Bonsoir!

Une petite carte avant le week-end. Toute en My Favorite Things. Je vous encourage à aller faire un tour en boutique pour découvrir les nouveautés.

J'ai découpé un rectangle puis un carré pour créer un effet polaroïd. J'ai réalisé le fond avec les encres Distress Oxide puis découpé et colorié mes motifs avec mes Copics.  J'ai ajouté un sentiment rigolo et voilà!

Sending Christmas Cheer

J'espère que vous allez bien! Moi je suis ravie d'avoir réalisé une carte pour Scraphouse, cela fait un bon moment que je n'ai pas scrappé! J'ai créé une carte de voeux pour les fêtes avec les nouveaux tampons de My Favorite Things. Dépêchez-vous de vous rendre en boutique pour découvrir toutes les nouveautés!

My Favorite things: Retired Stamp and Die Cut Set

 Hallo miteinander :)

letztens habe ich eine liebe Nachbarin mal wieder am Bahnhof getroffen und da wollte ich ihr unbedingt eine Karte basteln. Sie hat drei süsse Enkelinnen, die sich mit auf diese Karte geschlichen haben.

Dazu habe ich die mittlerweile aus dem Sortiment genommenen Stempel und Stanzen von My Favorite Things benutzt, Scraphouse hat aber noch einige dieser Exemplare auf Lager!

Zum einen ist es das Stempel Set: Fairy Tale Friendship

Zum anderen die Stanze: Castle Drawbridge

Leider wurde die Stanze in der Zeit herausgebracht als MFT ihre Preise enorm erhöht hatten. Mittlerweile sind diese Preise wieder gefallen aber gewisse Stanzen haben nun noch den alten Preis, da kann Margaretha nur nichts dafür... item die Stanze ist ganz toll und eine Anschaffung wert!

I just recently met an old neighbour of mine at the trainstation and really wanted to make a card for her after that meeting. She has three gorgeous Grand Daughters which have snuck there way onto this card...

I have used a Stampset and a Die Cut set from my Favorite Things which have been retired by now, but Scraphouse still has those in stock!

The stampset is called: Fairy Tale Friendship

and the diecut set: Castle Drawbridge

Unfortunatelly that die set got produced in a time where MFT had increased their prices by a lot. By now their prices are back down but those items still have the old pricing which is a pitty for Margaretha... anyway those Die Cuts are super cool and worth their money!

Mit zwei ergänzenden Streifen als Seiten habe ich aus der Stanze eine Shadowbox Karte gemacht.

By adding two stripes for the sides I made a Shadow Box Card out of those Castle dies.

Dazu habe ich die Burg zweimal ausgestanzt und auf der Rückseite eine Tapete in die Burg geklebt um die Falltür / Zugbrücke zu verdecken.

I die cut the main castle body twice and put some wallpaper into the castle to cover up the redundant second trapdoor / drawbridge.

Et voilà die Figuren eingeklebt und ein paar Sprüche auf und in die Karte embosst. Die deutschen Sprüche sind aber von create a smile - von denen habe ich die  meisten deutschen Sprüche und ich bin mir eben nicht sicher ob  meine alte Nachbarin Marianne englisch spricht.

With adding the characters and some sentiments embossed this card was finished quite quick. I got those German sentiments from create a smile - as most of my German sentiments are from there and I am not really sure if Marianne my old neighbour speaks English.

Und das wars auch schon wieder :)

Individuelle Toblerone Verpackung

 Hallo miteinander :)

Heute möchte ich euch eines meiner letzten Projekte kurz vorstellen: Verpackung einer 100 grämmigen Toblerone selber herstellen. Hier sind einige dekorierte Beispiele mit Stempeln von My Favorite Things, Lawn Fawn, Hello Bluebird und Marianne Design Stanzen.

Today I would like to present to you one of my latest projects: a homemade packaging for a 100 gr Toblerone. Here are a few decorated examples with stamps from My Favorite Things, Lawn Fawn, Hello Bluebird and Marianne Design die cuts.

Für die Verpackung habe ich im Office Word einen Grundriss erstellt und mir diesen auf 300 Gramm Papier ausgedruckt. Das Foto ist eine A4 Seite, dann sollten die Dimensionen für die Verpackung stimmen.

I prepared a template in an Office Word document for the packaging and printed it onto 300 gr heavy cardstock. This picture is of a full A4 page so if you print it in those dimensions, it should work out.

Zuerst habe ich die Teile mit Distress Oxiden eingefärbt, dazu habe ich jeweils drei Farbkombinationen verwendet.

First I colored all the parts with Distress Oxides, for that I used three different color combinations per packaging.

Danach habe ich alle Teile mit Wasserfarbe und Perfect Pearls besprenkelt. Als sie trocken waren dann ausgeschnitten und ein "Happy Birthday" mit Versamark Tinte gestempelt und mit schwarzem Puder embosst.

Then I cut out all the parts and used watercolors and perfect pearls to make speckles. When they were dry I cut them all out and used versamark ink to embosse a "Happy Birthday" with black embossing powder onto them.

Vor dem Falten habe ich alle Falzlinien mit einem Falzbein vorbereitet, um danach schöne saubere Kanten zu haben. Dann hat die Kleberei begonnen. Für den Deckel habe ich Flüssigleim verwendet. Es war ein bisschen schwierig da irgendwie alle Teile zur selben Zeit geklebt werden. Die kleine Lasche geht unter die andere (siehe Foto unten rechts). Eventuell müsst ihr einige Ecken ein bisschen mehr trimmen als es auf der Vorlage gezeigt ist. Ich hoffe das klappt bei euch!

Before I folded all the lines, I scored them to get sharp, neat creases. Then the gluey part started. I used liquid adhesive for the lid and it was a bit tricky as all the parts kind of needed to be glued and attached at the same time. The smaller flap goes under the other one (as shown in the picture to the right). Maybe you would have to cut a bit off those parts in order to make it work. I do hope you get it to work!

Den Hauptkörper habe ich zusammen geklebt mit einer Toblerone in der Mitte um die Klebelaschen besser andrücken zu können. Für die lange Kante habe ich doppelseitiges Klebeband verwendet, für die Dreieckseiten Flüssigleim. Et voilà, dekorieren und fertig. :)

Ich hoffe ihr probiert es auch aus mit dem eingefügten Grundriss für diese Toblerone Schachtel.

The long side of the main body I adhered with score tape and the triangle parts with liquid adhesive. To make the whole assembling easier I wrapped it around a Toblerone so it wouldn't collapse when I put pressure onto the parts which needed to stick together. And just like that you can decorate it and are finished! :)

I do hope you try it out with the inserted picture of the template.
