Mice Carols - Lawnfawn Winter Release 2025

Buongiorno creative, come state? siamo quasi alla fine di settembre, l'estate é finita e finalmente ci possiamo tuffare nel mondo delle card di Natale! HURRÀ! adoro creare le card di Natale e spedirle alle mie amiche cardmaker, e voi? 

Ogni anno aspetto la Winter release della Lawnfawn perchè non mi delude mai :D

Ho costruito le scene di questa card usando fustella interattiva Double Slider Surprise con la nuova patterned paper All the sparkles 15x15 ( vi lascio in fondo il video tutorial creato della Lawnfawn per assemblare la loro fustella).

 I topini protagonisti della card vengono dalla nuova plancia Caroling mice che una volta timbrata ho colorato con i marker ad alcool. 

Ho creato uno scenario invernale usando della carta glitter bianca per creare l'effetto neve. Per la scena centrale ho usato la fustella Stitched hillside border, mentre per quelle laterali la nuova fustella Village hillside border.

Una volta finito di assemblare la mia double slider surprise, l'ho incollata con del biadesivo spessorato ad un cartoncino 4.25''x5.5''.

Good morning, crafters! 

How are you? It's almost the end of September, summer is over, and we can finally dive into the world of Christmas cards! HURRAY! I love making Christmas cards and sending them to my cardmaker friends. How about you? 

Every year, I look forward to Lawnfawn's Winter release because it never disappoints me :D

I created the scenes on this card using the Double Slider Surprise interactive die with the new All the Sparkles 15x15 patterned paper (I'll leave the video tutorial created by Lawnfawn for assembling their die at the bottom).

 The mice featured on the card come from the new Caroling Mice stamp set, which I colored with alcohol markers after stamping. 

I created a winter scene using white glitter paper to create a snow effect. For the central scene, I used the Stitched Hillside Border die, while for the side scenes, I used the new Village Hillside Border die.

Once I had finished assembling my double slider surprise, I glued it with thick double-sided tape to a 4.25'‘x5.5’' card.

Quick Foiled card with Studio Light paper pad

spero stiate bene! Di recente ho scoperto questo paper pad di Studio light per creare card di Natale in brevissimo tempo. Ogni pagina del pad serve per creare la base del biglietto con un effetto foilizzato magnifico! Li potete trovare sullo shop in versione argento, oro e oro rosa.

hope you are doing well! I recently discovered this paper pad from Studio light for creating Christmas cards in a very short time. Each page of the pad is used to create the card base with a magnificent foil effect! You can find them on the shop in silver, gold and rose gold versions.

 

                   

              

Per la mia card ho usato la versione oro. Ho posizionato una fustella rettangolare nella parte foilizzata per creare una finestra e passata attraverso la mia Bigshot. Poi rivestito internamente con una patterned paper dal pad della Lawnfawn Let it Shine Snowflakes. Ho colorato la timbrata Celebrate Santa con i miei marker ed incollato sulla facciata della mia card ed abbellito con i sentiment con la fustella Scripty Merry e Scripty merry outline.

For my card I used the gold version. I placed a rectangular die cut in the foilized part to create a window and ran it through my Bigshot. Then

lined the inside with patterned paper from the Lawnfawn Let it Shine Snowflakes pad. I colored the stamped Celebrate Santa with my markers and glued on the front of my card and embellished with sentiments with the Scripty Merry die cut and Scripty merry outline.

Christmas in July...

ou idée pour utiliser le même pressplate pour différentes occasions.
J'utilise ici la plaque qui est comprise dans le pack de la BetterPress pour en faire une version pour Noël.
J'ai disposé les fleurs de façon a occuper les coins et bords de la carte, puis j'ai coloré avec mes feutres SpectrumNoir pour les pétales et les feuilles et un crayon jaune pour le coeur.
J'ai utilisé un or de ma palette aquarelle FineTec pearlescent colors ( mais le papier n'est pas top et on voit les traces 😟) pour remplir tout le fond.
Le sentiment vient d'un ancien SpellbindersClubKits de 2022, il a été fait avec la Glimmer Hot Foil System et le rouleau Blanc Opaque sur cardstock rouge de mon stock mais vous pouvez utiliser celui-ci et pour mettre le sentiment le plus droit possible je me sers du T Square/Ruler et quelques embellissements transparents.

or idea to use the same pressplate for different occasions.
Here I use the plate that is included in the BetterPress pack to make a Christmas version.
I arranged the flowers to occupy the corners and edges of the card, then I colored with my SpectrumNoir markers for the petals and leaves and an yellow pencil for the heart.
I used a gold from my FineTec pearlescent colors watercolor palette (but the paper is not great and you can see the marks 😟) to fill the entire background.
The sentiment comes from an old SpellbindersClubKits from 2022, it was made with the Glimmer Hot Foil System and the Opaque White roll on red cardstock from my stock but you can use this one and to put the sentiment as straight as possible I use the T Square/Ruler  and some transparent embellishments.

Ho visto che negli ultimi anni va molto di voga il "Christmas in July" ho deciso di cominciare anch'io a creare qualche card natalizia.

Good morning everyone! 

How are you doing? I hope you are doing well despite this summer heat that has suddenly arrived! I saw that “Christmas in July” is very much in vogue in recent years, so I decided to start creating some Christmas cards too.

Per queste mie due card ho usato questa nuova DOPPIA press plate Night and day pines !!! Dentro alla confezione abbiamo 2 press plate che fanno la stampa positiva e negativa del soggetto in questione! Trovo che sia geniale!!! Voi cosa ne pensate?

For these two cards of mine I used this new DOUBLE press plate Night and day pines !!! Inside the package we have 2 press plates that do positive and negative printing of the subject in question! I find it to be brilliant !!! What do you guys think?

Per la prima stampa ho usato il negativo, che ho inchiostrato con l'Altenew enchanted gold pigment ink e come cartoncino ho usato uno verde scuro dai pad di StudioLight.

For the first print I used the negative, which I inked with Altenew enchanted gold pigment ink, and as a cardstock I used a dark green one from StudioLight pads.

Per questa seconda card invece ho usato la plate positiva ed inchiostrato con il Distress ink Walnut Stain perché volevo creare degli sfondi che rimanessero un po'neutri per poter dare più importanza agli elementi successivi.

Ho usato la fustella Sealed Christmas Sprigs per creare i rametti e la Stella di natale e per dare una sfumatura maggiore alle foglie, ho intensificato alcune parti con i Copic markers. Invece per ottenere l' effetto cordino, ho usato la fustella Sealed Twine, anch'esso di Spellbinders , insieme ad un cartoncino dorato dal set Gold Assortment Treasured Cardstock.

For this second card, however, I used Positive Plate and inked with Distress ink Walnut Stain because I wanted to create backgrounds that remained somewhat neutral in order to give more importance to the later elements.

I used the Sealed Christmas Sprigs die cut to create the sprigs and the poinsettia and to give more shading to the leaves, I intensified some parts with Copic markers. Instead to get the lanyard effect, I used the Sealed Twine dies, also from Spellbinders , along with a gold cardstock from the Gold Assortment Treasured Cardstock set.

Infine per completare la mia card ho usato la cerlacca dal kit di Spellbinders.

Finally, to complete my card, I used wax from the Spellbinders kit.

First time playing with Lunar and Solar pastes.

spero di trovarvi in buona salute.

Oggi con molta eccitazione vi mostra questa card usando le paste Lunar e Solar di Simon Hurley. Dal momento che erano uscite in commercio, mi avevano molto attirato, perché la loro stesura sembrava fantastica! Finalmente le ho potute testare anch'io e confermo che la loro texture é meravigliosa! Le si possono applicare con una spatolina, ma anche con le dita oppure con un blending tool, a dipendenza dell'effetto che volete ottenere!

Today with much excitement I show you this card using Simon Hurley's Lunar and Solar pastes. Since they had come out commercially, I had been very attracted to them because their layering looked great! I finally got to test them out myself and confirm that their texture is wonderful! You can apply them with a spatula, but also with your fingers or with a blending tool, depending on the effect you want to achieve!

Qui le ho applicate sopra ad un cartoncino nero embossato con l'embossing 3D di Spellbinders Holly and Foliage. Le paste le ho applicate con le dita,  per le foglie ho usato: Minty fresh, Later gator, Tropical tango, per le bacche ho usato Game over e per gli spazi non in rilievo ho usato l'oro, Slippery when wet. Colorazione semplice e veloce. Una volta che le paste si son asciugate, ho ritagliato un rettangolo della misura che volevo per lo sfondo della card.

Per il sentiment ho usato la glimmer machine, foilizzando d'oro un sentiment del set Winter Big Scripty Words hot foil plates della Lawnfawn .

Spero vi piaccia il risultato!

Here I applied them over a black embossed cardstock with Spellbinders Holly and Foliage 3D embossing. I applied the pastes with my fingers, for the leaves I used Minty fresh, Later gator, Tropical tango, for the berries I used Game over and for the unembossed spaces I used gold, Slippery when wet. Quick and easy coloring. Once the pastes dried, I cut out a rectangle the size I wanted for the background of the card.

For the sentiment I used the glimmer machine, gold foiling a sentiment from the Winter Big Scripty Words hot foil plates set from Lawnfawn .

non vado matta per le fustelle perché non mi piace incollare i piccoli ritagli, ma oggi ho voluto sperimentare qualcosa di nuovo. Ho usato la fustella di Les ateliers de Karine Enveloppe Fleurie, per creare la busta e i rametti che escono da essa, insieme alla bimba di All And Create Happy mail 819 sfondo di questa card l'ho realizzata usando lo stencil Les Flocons della SOKAI su carta kraft con il distress oxide vintage photo. Il sentiment Best Wishes invece di Pinkfresh Classic words die set.

I'm not crazy about die-cuts because I don't like to glue little cutouts, but today I wanted to experiment with something new. I used the die cut from Les ateliers de Karine Enveloppe Fleurie, to create the envelope and the sprigs coming out of it, along with the little girl from All And Create Happy mail 819 background of this card I made it using the Les Flocons stencil from SOKAI on kraft paper with the distress oxide vintage photo. The Best Wishes sentiment is from Pinkfresh Classic words die set.

avete visto che bello questo timbro di l' Encre et l'image - Gare aux betises ? Colorare questi timbri con i copic  é stato bellissimo!!! Per creare lo sfondo ho usato i due distress oxide Scattered straw e rustic wilderness su un cartoncino di acquarello.

have you seen how beautiful is this stamp from l' Encre et l'image - Gare aux betises ? Coloring these stamps with copics was so fun !!! To create the background I used the two distress oxides Scattered straw and rustic wilderness on a watercolor paper.

In seguito ho timbrato lo sfondo di Les Ateliers de Karine - Sapins con il Versamark e poi embossato alcuni sfondi con una polvere dorata ed altri con una bianca.

Next I stamped the background of Les Ateliers de Karine - Sapins with Versamark and then embossed some backgrounds with a gold powder and others with a white one.

Su un ritaglio di carta da acquarello ho sfumato i seguenti distress oxide: Barn Door, Lumberjack Plaid, Aged Mahogany. Ho aspettato che fosse asciutto il cartoncino e prima di timbrare lo sfondo, ho passato la polvere antistatica. Ho timbrato il nuovo sfondo di MFT Snowflake Flurry Background con il Versamark ed embossato con la polvere embossing glaze Lumberjack Plaid.

Ho fustellato  la stella di Crealies VARIA 06 CURLY STAR SNOWFLAKE con la carta dorata del pad Studio Light Vintage Christmas Glitter Pad e con il Vellum. Ho usato il sentiment strips di Modascrap. Infine ho incollato tutto su un cartoncino Ephemeria cardstock Kraft Brun.

On a watercolor paper cutout I shaded the following distress oxides: Barn Door, Lumberjack Plaid, Aged Mahogany. I waited until the cardstock was dry, and before stamping the background, I dusted it with anti-static powder. I stamped the new MFT Snowflake Flurry Background with Versamark and embossed with Lumberjack Plaid glaze embossing powder.

I die-cut the Crealies VARIA 06 CURLY STAR SNOWFLAKE star with Studio Light Vintage Christmas Glitter Pad gold paper and Vellum. I used the sentiment strips from Modascrap. Finally, I glued everything onto an Ephemeria Kraft Brun cardstock.

oggi vi voglio mostrare quanto sono adorabili questi piccoli personaggi del set Say what? holiday critters della Lawnfawn. Sono davvero veloci da colorare e perfetti per abbellire una card con un grande sentiment oppure delle tags!

Good morning everyone! 
Today I want to show you how adorable these little characters from the Say what? holiday critters set from Lawnfawn are. They are really quick to color and perfect for embellishing a card with a great sentiment or tags!

Ho timbrato e colorato i miei soggetti con i Copics e li ho ritagliati con la Scan and Cut! Se ancora non l'avete ve la consiglio vivamente perché é comodissima. Il modello che acquistato é un po' vecchiotto, ma a me quello che più interessava era solo l'opzione di scansire il disegno e poi ritagliarne i contorni.

In seguito ho usato la fustella della Lawnfawn Stitched Ornaments, ho scelto la dimensione della fustella più grande ed ho ricavato 3 bocce di natale con il nuovo paper pad Let it shine starry skies. Da un cartoncino glitter oro ho tagliato la chiusura della boccia ed il fondo.

Ho assemblato tutti i pezzi e voilà, ho ricavato 3 tags semplici e veloci.

I stamped and colored my subjects with Copics and cut them out with the Scan and Cut! If you don't have it yet I highly recommend it because it is so convenient. The plotter I purchased is a little old, but cheaper, what I was most interested in was just the option to scan the design and then cut out the outlines.

Next, I used the Lawnfawn Stitched Ornaments die cut, chose the largest die size and cut out 3 Christmas bowls with the new paper pad Let it shine starry skies. From gold glitter cardstock I cut the bowl closure and the bottom.

I assembled all the pieces and voila, I made 3 quick and easy tags.
