Happy Spring Tulip Card

Today I’m sharing a card I created with the new Tulips and Daffodils Press Plate from Yana Smakula. Such a gorgeous image. 

I started by using the Pressplate with my Betterpress. When I’m using inks to color my image, I mostly use Versa fine Black ink. This works amazing well with the Betterpress and I always get a great result. Then I added some ink around my image with inks and a blending brush.

Then I colored the image with the coordinating stencil.

To get a little bit more interest I partially die cut the flowers with the Essential Arches. I only cut the lower part, the upper part I cut by hand.

Then I used two of the same die to create a frame, this brings everything together. Added a sentiment and glued everything on a matching cardstock.

Hallo zusammen

 

Heute zeige ich euch eine Karte, die ich mit der neuen Pressplatte „Tulips and Daffodils“ von Yana Smakula gestaltet habe. Ein wirklich wunderschönes Motiv. 

Zunächst habe ich die Pressplatte mit meiner Betterpress verwendet. Wenn ich mein Motiv mit Stempelfarben kolorieren möchte, verwende ich meistens VersaFine-Tinte in Schwarz. Diese funktioniert hervorragend mit der Betterpress und ich erziele damit immer ein tolles Ergebnis. Anschließend habe ich mit Stempelfarben und einem Blending-Pinsel etwas Farbe um mein Motiv herum aufgetragen.

Dann habe ich das Motiv mit der passenden Schablone koloriert.

Um das Ganze etwas interessanter zu gestalten, habe ich die Blumen teilweise mit den „Essential Arches“-Stanzen ausgestanzt. Ich habe nur den unteren Teil ausgestanzt, den oberen Teil habe ich von Hand ausgeschnitten.

Anschließend habe ich zwei gleiche Stanzformen verwendet, um einen Rahmen zu gestalten, der alles zusammenhält. Ich habe noch einen Spruch hinzugefügt und alles auf passenden Karton geklebt.

Aujourd’hui, je vous présente une carte que j’ai réalisée avec la nouvelle plaque d’impression « Tulips and Daffodils » de Yana Smakula. C’est une image vraiment magnifique. 

J'ai commencé par utiliser la plaque de presse avec ma Betterpress. Lorsque j'utilise des encres pour colorier mon image, j'utilise principalement de l'encre Versa Fine noire. Elle fonctionne à merveille avec la Betterpress et j'obtiens toujours un superbe résultat. J'ai ensuite ajouté un peu d'encre autour de mon image à l'aide d'encres et d'un pinceau à estomper.

Puis j'ai coloré l'image avec le pochoir assorti.

Pour apporter un peu plus d'intérêt, j'ai découpé partiellement les fleurs avec les matrices Essential Arches. Je n'ai découpé que la partie inférieure, la partie supérieure a été découpée à la main.

J'ai ensuite utilisé deux matrices identiques pour créer un cadre, ce qui permet d'harmoniser l'ensemble. J'ai ajouté un message et collé le tout sur un papier cartonné assorti.

One layer Artsy Card

Hello everyone

Hope you all find some crafty time this weekend. I’m sharing a one layer card using some new Sizzix Stamps.

The whole collection really wants you to create all these artsy cards.

I started by cutting a frame with the Essential Arches. (These coordinates with the Color Block Accent Arches, what really gives a cool effect.) from Masking Paper. Then an added the frame on my card base and started with some ink blending. 

Then I removed the upper part of the Frame and stamped the solid flower form the Willow Wolf Stamp set. Then I added darker ink and added a spritz of Water the get this cool Watercolor effect. I repeated the process until I was happy with the result. Then I added the outer line of the stamp set.

Then I removed the rest of the mask and stamped my sentiment. 

To finish everything, I colored the center of the flowers and added some splatters. Easy card, but I love the look of it.

Hallo zusammen,

ich hoffe, ihr findet dieses Wochenende alle etwas Zeit zum Basteln. Ich zeige euch heute eine einlagige Karte, für die ich einige neue Stempel von Sizzix verwendet habe.

Die gesamte Kollektion lädt geradezu dazu ein, all diese kunstvollen Karten zu gestalten.

Zunächst habe ich mit den „Essential Arches“ (die sich hervorragend mit den „Color Block Accent Arches“ kombinieren lassen und einen wirklich coolen Effekt ergeben) einen Rahmen aus Masking Paper ausgestanzt. Dann habe ich den Rahmen auf meinen Kartenrohling geklebt und mit dem Verblenden der Tintenfarben begonnen. Anschließend habe ich den oberen Teil des Rahmens entfernt und die gefüllte Blume aus dem „Willow Wolf“-Stempelset aufgestempelt. Dann habe ich dunklere Tinte aufgetragen und etwas Wasser aufgesprüht, um diesen coolen Aquarelleffekt zu erzielen. Ich wiederholte den Vorgang, bis ich mit dem Ergebnis zufrieden war. Dann fügte ich die äußere Linie des Stempelsets hinzu.

Anschließend entfernte ich den Rest der Maske und stempelte meinen Spruch auf.

Zum Abschluss kolorierte ich die Mitte der Blumen und fügte ein paar Spritzer hinzu. Eine einfache Karte, aber ich liebe ihren Look.

J'espère que vous trouverez tous un peu de temps pour bricoler ce week-end. Je vous présente aujourd'hui une carte à un seul niveau réalisée avec les nouveaux tampons Sizzix.

Toute cette collection vous invite vraiment à créer toutes sortes de cartes artistiques.

J'ai commencé par découper un cadre avec les Essential Arches (qui s'accordent parfaitement avec les Color Block Accent Arches, ce qui donne vraiment un effet sympa) dans du papier de masquage. J'ai ensuite ajouté le cadre sur ma base de carte et j'ai commencé par estomper l'encre. J'ai ensuite retiré la partie supérieure du cadre et j'ai tamponné la fleur pleine du set de tampons Willow Wolf. J'ai ensuite ajouté de l'encre plus foncée et vaporisé un peu d'eau pour obtenir ce superbe effet aquarelle. J'ai répété le processus jusqu'à ce que je sois satisfaite du résultat. J'ai ensuite ajouté le contour extérieur du set de tampons.

Puis j'ai retiré le reste du masque et tamponné mon message.

Pour finir, j'ai coloré le centre des fleurs et ajouté quelques éclaboussures. Une carte simple, mais j'adore son rendu.
