Cool card for hot days

Today I created a card with some blue, white and gold. I love this color combination. This feels so elegant to me.

I used the Golden Poppies Set from Pinkfresh Studio for it. I started with the stencils and mixed some different blues together. The I cut everything with the coordinating die. The die also adds texture to the flowers and leaves. Such a cool set to play with colors.

Then I foiled some numbers with the Bold Numbers Press plate and cut them out.

For my background I wanted some texture, but not something too distractive. So, I used the Spellbinders Lined Corners Embossing folder. Its symmetrical but still ads a lot of interest.

I assembled everything an really love how this turned out.

Hallo zusammen,

 

heute habe ich eine Karte in Blau, Weiß und Gold gestaltet. Ich liebe diese Farbkombination. Sie wirkt auf mich so elegant.

Dafür habe ich das „Golden Poppies“-Set von Pinkfresh Studio verwendet. Ich habe zunächst mit den Schablonen gearbeitet und verschiedene Blautöne miteinander gemischt. Anschließend habe ich alles mit der passenden Stanzform ausgestanzt. Die Stanzform verleiht den Blumen und Blättern zudem eine schöne Struktur. Ein wirklich tolles Set, um mit Farben zu experimentieren.

Anschließend habe ich einige Zahlen mit der Prägeplatte „Bold Numbers“ foliert und ausgeschnitten.

Für meinen Hintergrund wollte ich etwas Struktur, aber nichts, das zu sehr ablenkt. Deshalb habe ich die Prägevorlage „Lined Corners“ von Spellbinders verwendet. Sie ist symmetrisch, sorgt aber dennoch für viel Abwechslung.

Ich habe alles zusammengesetzt und bin wirklich begeistert davon, wie das Ergebnis geworden ist.

Aujourd’hui, j’ai créé une carte dans les tons de bleu, blanc et or. J’adore cette combinaison de couleurs. Je la trouve tellement élégante.

Pour cela, j’ai utilisé le set « Golden Poppies » de Pinkfresh Studio. J’ai commencé par les pochoirs et j’ai mélangé plusieurs nuances de bleu. J’ai ensuite découpé le tout avec la matrice assortie. La matrice apporte également de la texture aux fleurs et aux feuilles. C’est un set vraiment génial pour jouer avec les couleurs.

J’ai ensuite appliqué une feuille métallisée sur des chiffres à l’aide de la plaque « Bold Numbers Press », puis je les ai découpés.

Pour mon arrière-plan, je voulais un peu de texture, mais sans que cela détourne trop l’attention. J’ai donc utilisé le dossier d’embossage « Lined Corners » de Spellbinders. Il est symétrique, mais apporte tout de même beaucoup d’intérêt.

J’ai assemblé le tout et j’adore vraiment le résultat.

Kokeshi Doll

J'espère que vous allez bien et que vous scrappez toujours. 

Je vous présente aujourd'hui une carte réalisée avec la machine Glimmer Hot Foil de Spellbinders. C'est vraiment assez facile d'utilisation et le résultat est vraiment bluffant. 

J'ai utilisé le die Kokeshi Doll de Spellbinders mais il n'est malheureusement plus en magasin. Vous pouvez par exemple utiliser Mickey Mouse à la place. Le sentiment vient du set Wonderful Tulips.

Cette carte est parfaite pour offrir à ma belle-soeur qui est passionnée par le Japon.

Pour utiliser la Glimmer Hot Foil, il faut tout d'abord brancher la machine et l'allumer. Elle commence à chauffer et une fois la température idéale atteinte, le voyant vert Platform Ready s'allume. Pendant que la machine chauffe, découpez un morceau de foil de la taille de votre die. Placez votre die sur la plaque chauffée et le foil du côté imprimé face contre le die. Pressez le bouton Timer et quand le die est chaud, recouvrez-le de votre cardstock et des 2 plaques puis passez la dans votre machine de découpe Big Shot ou autre doucement. Retirez délicatement le foil de votre cardstock et... admirez le résultat. Attention! Le die est chaud. Le résultat est magnifique, cela fait très élégant et professionnel. J'adore! Et vous?

Floral Day Dream

Questo caldo improvviso vi ha travolto? Devo dire che mi ha colto alla sprovvista, e di solito mi viene molta stanchezza quando é così caldo, ma nonostante tutto mi sono sentita super ispirata da questo set di Pinkfresh Studio Floral Day Dream che ho creato in diverse varianti , che vi mostrerò prossimamente su instagram. :D

Per adesso ecco qui la versione Green! Mi son divertita a giocare con diverse tonalità di verde ed ho colpo ispirazione dalle cards fatte dal design team di Pinkfresh.

Ho usato il timbro, stencil e fustella del set Floral day dream.

Ho colorato i fiori con 2 inchiostri verdi di Pinkfresh Studio, evergreen e fresh pear, ed usando pressioni differenti con il blending tool, ho ottenuto sfumature differenti.

Per entrambi gli sfondi delle due cards ho usato i ritagli ottenuti dalla fustella di Spellbinders Infinity Punch&Pierce Plate. La card che vedete a destra invece ho aggiunto in più un cartoncino bianco embossato con un 3d embossing folder di Lisa Horton ed abbellito con il sentiment di Spellbinders Layered Happy Birthday etches dies.

Has this sudden heatwave caught you off guard? I have to say it took me by surprise, and I usually get really tired when it’s this hot, but despite everything, I felt super inspired by this Pinkfresh Studio Floral Day Dream set, which I’ve created in several variations—I’ll be showing them to you soon on Instagram. :D

For now, here’s the Green version! I had fun playing with different shades of green and drew inspiration from the cards made by the Pinkfresh design team.

I used the stamp, stencil, and die from the Floral Day Dream set.

I colored the flowers with two green inks from Pinkfresh Studio, Evergreen and Fresh Pear, and by applying different pressures with the blending tool, I achieved various shades.

For the backgrounds of both cards, I used the cutouts from the Spellbinders Infinity Punch & Pierce Plate die. On the card you see on the right, I also added a white cardstock piece embossed with a 3D embossing folder by Lisa Horton and embellished with the sentiment from the Spellbinders Layered Happy Birthday Etches Dies.
