Playing with distress reinkers

 

Buongiorno creative,

anche stavolta vi mostro una card usando l'embossing folder Blooming butterfly di Spellbinders, ma utilizzando la parte floreale. Ho usato un pezzo di vellum ed una volta embossato ho colorato con l'inchiostro rose gold di altenew e uno nero le parti in rilievo.

once again I show you a card using the

from Spellbinders, but using the floral part. I used a piece of vellum and once embossed I colored the embossed parts with altenew's rose gold ink and a black one.

In seguito usando un cartoncino d'acquarello, con un pennello ho bagnato la carta e poi lasciato scivolare una goccia di colore del Distress ink reinker in modo da far colare il colore per tutto il cartoncino. Ho ripetuto questo passaggio con i colori: dried marigold ,  squeezed lemonade, shabby shutters, peacock feathers, wilted violet, seedless preserves and picked raspberry.

Next using a watercolor card, I wet the paper with a brush and then let a drop of color from the Distress ink reinker slide in so that the color ran all over the card. I repeated this step with the colors: dried marigold , squeezed lemonade, shabby shutters, peacock feathers, wilted violet, seedless preserves and picked raspberry.

Per completare la mia card ho incollato il vellum , timbrato un sentiment dal set Crafty life stamp di Altenew ed incollato una farfalla di Spellbinders.

o complete my card I glued the vellum , stamped a sentiment from Altenew's Crafty life stamp set and glued a butterfly from Spellbinders.

Combining: watercolor, hot foil and betterpress

spero di trovarvi bene! Oggi ho ricevuto un pacco da Scraphouse e non ho resistito ed ho voluto fare queste cards! Mi piace uscire dal mio solito stile e devo ringraziare Marjolein per avermi fatto notare quando sia interessante questa nuova placca per la betterpress!

I hope to find you well! Today I received a package from Scraphouse and I couldn't resist and wanted to make these cards! I like to get out of my usual style and I have to thank Marjolein for pointing out to me how interesting this new betterpress plaque is!

Ho usato la betterpress plate Spring Magnolias sul cartoncino apposito d'acquarello , una volta ottenuto le mie stampe, ho colorato con i Lindy's: Kissin' couple crimson e Dunka biscuit blue green. Ho messo un po' di polvere in una tavolozza d'acquarello ed aggiunto dell'acqua, una volta miscelati insieme ho ottenuto il colore per dipingere fiori e foglie. Una volta asciutti, ho aggiunto dei dettagli con le matite colorate e poi li ho ritagliati con la fustella coordinata.

I used the betterpress plate Spring Magnolias on the appropriate watercolor board , once I got my prints, I colored with Lindy's: Kissin' couple crimson and Dunka biscuit blue green. I put some powder in a watercolor palette and added water, once mixed together I got the color to paint flowers and leaves. Once dry, I added details with colored pencils and then cut them out with the coordinating dies.

In seguito ho usato le due placche Spotlight circle duo. Ho iniziato con il cerchio con le righe ed ho sfumato l'inchiostro nero per la betterpress con Rose Gold pigment di Altenew. Per un caso fortuito avevo un stencil di MFT con un cerchio della misura esatta della mia stampa, per cui lo usato come mascheratura per fare degli schizzi d'oro con il Gold pale japanese watercolor.

Next, I used the Spotlight circle duo plates. I started with the circle with the stripes and shaded the black ink for the betterpress with Rose Gold pigment from Altenew. By a fluke I had a stencil from MFT with a circle the exact size of my print, so I used it as a masking to make gold splashes with Gold pale japanese watercolor.

Per il secondo sfondo ho usato la plate circolare con i puntini insieme all' Enchanted gold pigment ink di Altenew.

Per abbellire ho usato i sentiment foilizzato d'oro dal set Must have sentiments hot foil di Simon Hurley per Spellbinders.

For the second background, I used the circular dot plate along with Altenew's Enchanted gold pigment ink.

To embellish I used gold foil sentiments from Simon Hurley's Must have sentiments hot foil set for Spellbinders.

Spellbinders Cosmos bundle

volevo mostrarvi questo bellissimo bundle di Spellbinders Cosmos backdrop, é una press plate in combinazione dello stencil. Ho voluto sperimentare diversi medium per la colorazione di questo sfondo. Dapprima ho usato la press plate per foilizzare con la hot foil glimmer con un foil dorato su 2 cartoncini d'acquarello per la better press e su un cartoncino bianco liscio.

I wanted to show you this beautiful bundle of Spellbinders Cosmos backdrop, it is a press plate in combination of the stencil. I wanted to experiment with different mediums for coloring this backdrop. First I used the press plate to foil with hot foil glimmer with a gold foil on 2 watercolor cards for the better press and on a plain white cardstock.

Su un cartoncino d'acquarello ho usato lo stencil insieme  i distress ink mentre il secondo sfondo l 'ho colorato con acquarelli e matite colorate. 

On a watercolor board I used the stencil together distress inks while the second background I colored with watercolors and colored pencils.

 

L'ultima versione invece l'ho colorata usando i Copic marker.

Per completare le cards ho usato i sentiment sempre da una press plate You are everything sentiments.

The last version, on the other hand, I colored using Copic markers.

To complete the cards I used sentiments again from a press plate You are everything sentiments.

Mi son divertita molto a giocare con questi diversi medium, anche se ho trovato un po' di difficoltà con gli acquarelli ed il risultato finale non mi é piaciuto molto.  Voi cosa ne pensate? vi piace provare diverse colorazioni?

I had a lot of fun playing with these different mediums, although I found some difficulty with the watercolors and didn't like the end result very much.  What do you guys think, do you like to try different colorings?

Betterpress, thanks for just being you

ultimamente ho lasciato un po' da parte la Betterpress, ma con l'arrivo di queste nuove placche, non ho resistito a creare questa card. Per la base della mia card ho usato il cartoncino Pebble Betterpress cotton card che sembra leggermente grigino ed ho usato la Cosmos Backdrop Press Plate con l'inchiostro nero.

Sempre usando il cartoncino Pebble ho ricavato i fiori Flower stems press che ho colorato con gli acquarelli. Per in sentiment ho usato You are everything press plate con l'inchiostro dorato della Altenew Entchanted gold. Spero vi piaccia il risultato!

Hello dearest, 

I have been leaving Betterpress aside a bit lately, but with the arrival of these new plates, I couldn't resist creating this card. For the base of my card I used Pebble Betterpress cotton card stock that seems slightly grayish and used the Cosmos Backdrop Press Plate with black ink.

Also using Pebble cardstock I made the flowers Flower stems press which I colored with watercolors. For in sentiment I used You are everything press plate with Altenew Entchanted gold ink. I hope you like the result!

My Favourite Person Card with Isha Gupta

Hello everyone! Isha here sharing a fun watercolor clean and simple card on the new Betterpress by Spellbinders. Now this system comes with everything you need to create the card. 

I started by using  the black ink that comes with the box. This system is easy to use and gives a beautiful letterpress look, which is difficult to share in the photos.

I did everything as per the instructions to get the impression. You can use any of your favorite die or simply look for something in the SHOP.

I used  watercolors to color in the image and a soft wash in the background.

To finish, I adhered this panel to a dark red cardbase. I also made a REEL for this card,  I will add it to the Scraphouse.ch instagram.

avete visto anche voi la novità dell'anno di Spellbinders? La Betterpress!!!Da ora é disponibile anche nello shop di Scraphouse!!!Evvivaaaa!!! Ad esser sincera all'inizio ero indecisa sull'acquisto, avevo guardato diversi video di dimostrazione, ed alla fine spinta dalla curiosità di provarla , l'ho acquistata! Cosa posso dire? Innanzi tutto é facilissima da usare ed é compatibile con la mia Big shot :D , grazie alle griglie e linee guida, é molto semplice capire dove voler posizionar gli elementi sulla card. Insieme alla Betterpress, c'é un kit di partenza: cartoncini in cotone per acquarello, un tape, una plate e un'inchiostro. Ho voluto creare qualcosa di diverso con la plate in dotazione ed ho ricreato una cornice di fiori.

have you also seen Spellbinders' new product of the year? The Betterpress!!!It is now also available in the Scraphouse shop!!!Yayaaa!!! To be honest at first I was undecided about buying it, I had watched several demonstration videos, and finally driven by curiosity to try it , I bought it! What can I say? First of all, it's super easy to use and it's compatible with my Big shot :D , thanks to the grids and guidelines, it's very easy to figure out where you want to place the elements on the card. Along with the Betterpress, there's a starter kit: cotton watercolor cards, a tape, a flower plate+sentiments and ink. 

For my card I wanted to create something different with the supplied plate and recreated a frame of flowers.

Come vi ho anticipato precedentemente, la Betterpress é dotata di questo tappetino magnetico con griglia, quindi sapendo dove avrei posizionato il mio cartoncino, é stato facile posizionare la plate fiore. Ho cominciato mettendo il fiore del rettangolo in basso a destra, inchiostrato e passato attraverso la mia bigshot. Al secondo giro, ho solo girato la placca in plexiglass dall'altro verso. Poi ho messo la plate nell'angolo in basso a sinistra e rifatto i medesimi passaggi. 

As I mentioned earlier, the Betterpress comes with this magnetic mat with grid, so knowing where I would place my cardstock, it was easy to place the flower plate. I started by placing the flower from the bottom right rectangle, inked and passed through my Bigshot. On the second round, I just turned the plexiglass plate the other way. Then I put the plate in the lower left corner and did the same steps again.

Una volta fatto la mia cornice di fiori ho posizionato al centro il sentiment che era nel kit.

Ho voluto colorare i fiori in maniera un po' astratta ed ho usato i seguenti Distress ink reinker ed aggiungo delle gocce dorate con la Nuvo spray oro.

Once I made my flower frame I placed the sentiment that was in the kit in the center.

I wanted to color the flowers somewhat abstractly and used the following Distress ink reinker and added gold drops with Nuvo gold spray.

Ed infine per completare la mia card ho incollato il cartoncino di carta d'acquarello su un cartoncino nero e uno oro.

And finally to complete my card, I glued the watercolor paper card to a black and a gold card.

Buongiorno care amiche creative!

Sta per cominciare l'autunno ed é la stagione che più mi affascina per i suoi bei colori caldi! Per questa card ho usato il nuovo timbro di  CHOU & FLOWERS , Fôret Enchantée Guirlande d'automne. Ho timbrato con l'Archival ink jet black e colorato con i Zig clean color : 23, 24, 43, 46, 50, 60, 61, 65, 72.

Ho usato la fustella MFT Watercolor Wash Free Form ho ritagliato un cartoncino marrone e poi embossato a freddo con Sizzix 3-D Texture Fades Embossing Folder - Lumber ed ho evidenziato l'effetto legno con il Distress Walnut stain.

Il sentiment Fall é del set della Lawn Fawn Scripty Autumn Sentiments che ho embossato con una polvere d'oro e la scritta Happy sono dei sentiment stripes di Modascrap.

Fall is about to begin and it is the season that fascinates me the most for its beautiful warm colors! For this card I used the new stamp from CHOU & FLOWERS , Fôret Enchantée Guirlande d'automne. I stamped with Archival ink jet black and colored with Zig clean colors: 23, 24, 43, 46, 50, 60, 61, 65, 72.

I used the MFT Watercolor Wash Free Form die cut out a brown cardstock and then cold embossed with Sizzix 3-D Texture Fades Embossing Folder - Lumber and highlighted the wood effect with Distress Walnut stain.

The Fall sentiment is from the Lawn Fawn Scripty Autumn Sentiments set that I embossed with a gold powder and the word "Happy"  are from Modascrap sentiment stripes.

Isha - MFT No-line Coloring Smile Card

Hello everyone! I am back again with a CAS card using the newest My Favorite Things products. Yesss! Did you check out the shop yet? We have such GORGEOUS new products HERE.

I love Stacy Yakula illustrations, so fell in love with this new stamp "Always Bring A Smile" too :) This stamp really is so good for coloring, so I did some no-line watercoloring. I used my Faber Castell markers but you can use distress ink, Zig clean color markers, Gansai Tambi watercolors or whatever you like :)

I started by creating the background, so I stamped the clouds from one of the older stamps by MFT "Scene Builder". I used distress ink Antique Linen for all the stamping. I then colored in the images. I then took the sun ray stencil and sponged some mustard seed distress ink using the Picket Fence sponge brush.

Isha - Season's Greetings

Hello everyone! WOW!! finally winter is here. There is lot of rain and gray skies and that is why I got late in posting these cards. The glitter wouldn't look nice in the photos :)

Today, I used these cute Penguin with Present from Wild Rose Studio to make my card. Isn't he adorable???

I colored this one using Zig Clean Color Real brush markers. I love these markers :) Check out the SHOP for lots of wonderful supplies.

Hello Everyone! Today, I have a fun floral card for you, using the newest Stitched Flowers Dies by MFT. It's so much fun to get the newest release products in the Scraphouse Shop. Thanks Marjolein :)

These flowers are really pretty and can be used in variety of styles. For today's card, I simply die-cut the flowers. Colored them using watercolors. I added distress ink to the background. Adhered the flowers and the word hello!

Isha - Waving Hello and Coloring with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers!

Hello Everyone! So the summer break is over. My younger daughter started school. My elder daughter is still home as she will start Uni from September :)

Talking about summer and hot weather, I have a water scene and I used the Zig Clean Color real brush markers to color the images. They are vibrant and rich colors and have brush tip. So it's very easy to get into all those tiny spaces. I have to tell you that they are super fun to color with. You really should try them out. Marjolein have them in the SHOP now :) I used Lawn Fawn "Mermaid for You stamp set" and dies.

I also used distress inks Peacock Feathers, Salty Ocean, Wilted Violet to create the water background.

Isha - Hello

Hello everyone! Today I am going to share 2 cute and fun cards using the new MFT stamps and dies Marjolein has in the shop. I am using the Beautiful Girl stamp, she is one adorable fairy. I am sure you will love it. I also used the Birch Tree die.

For the first card I used some watercolors around the image and kept the coloring of the fairy light. I love this effect, kind of gives the fairy tale dreamy and  soft look, isn't it?

For my 2nd. card, I die-cut the Birch Tree die. I stacked a few of them to give various height for added dimension. I sponged the background using distress inks in Twisted Citron, Picked Raspberry and Squeezed Lemonade. Colored the fairy using copics. If you look at the close-up, you will notice I gave dimension to the fairy's dress too. It looks so pretty in real life.

To finish I added some Wink of Stella clear glitter.

Isha - Unicorn Magic

Hello Everyone! Did you happen to see the new products Marjolein has in the SHOP? I love so many things and couldn't resist to create 2 cards for today :)

So, for my first card, I used stamps from 4 stamp sets. I really like to combine my stamps :) Isn't this Unicorn adorable and the sentiment from Snuggle Bunnies matches so perfectly!

Since this stamp was out and I just wanted to have fun...I created this next card using no-line watercoloring

Isha - Magic

Hello Everyone! Isha here...long time. Yes and I am back now and will be sharing my creations more. Hope they will inspire you. There are lots of fun new products in she shop and more will be coming soon! So keep checking :)

Today, I made 2 cards using the same stamp from Avery Elle "Pure Magic". The cardstock I used are watercolor paper and Bazzill Card shoppe.

Card 1: I used the Pure Magic stamp and the Wonky stitches die by Avery Elle. I colored it using watercolors. For the background wash, I used Distress inks.

Here is a close-up to see the dimension.

For my 2nd. card I used the same stamp as above and also used the Linen background cling stamp by MFT. This cute die is called Peek-a-boo by MFT. This is one of my favorites :) I colored my image using Copic markers and for the background wash, I used distress inks :)
