Dry Embossing with a hot foil plate

 

Buongiorno carissime, 

spero che stiate tutte bene! siete prese dai preparativi dell'ultimo dell'anno?

Oggi ho provato ad embossare a secco con una foil plate di Spellbinders Monoline Stars su un cartoncino nero. Avendo la Platinum 6 della spellbinders ho seguito le istruzioni sul "sandwich" da creare. Se invece doveste aver un'altra tipologia di macchina da taglio, esiste un tappetino in gomma da aggiungere alle placche di plastica per ottenere l'effetto dell'embossing folder.

Inseguito ho usato il nuovo set Stitched Kaleidoscope arch etched dies ed assemblato gli elementi alla mia base. Cosa ne pensate? Mi piace molto questo abbinamento nero-oro!

hope you are all well! are you caught up in your New Year's Eve preparations?

Today I tried dry embossing with a foil plate from Spellbinders Monoline Stars on black cardstock. Having the Platinum 6 from spellbinders, I followed the instructions on the "sandwich" to create. If you should have another type of cutting machine, however, there is a rubber mat to add to the plastic plates to achieve the embossing folder effect.

Following I used the new Stitched Kaleidoscope arch etched dies set and assembled the elements to my base. What do you guys think? I really like this black-gold combination!

Foiling with Betterpress plate

spero di trovarvi bene!

Quando é uscita la Betterpress ho visto tantissimi video sul loro utilizzo ed anche che le plate per Betterpress potevano esser usate con la hot foil glimmer machine. Ho sempre voluto provare e finalmente ho trovato l'occasione per farlo! Cosa ne pensate? Il risultato mi sembra davvero bello!

Ho quindi usato la press plate Season's Greetings Evergreens con il foil Aura su un cartoncino verde del pad  Studio Light Magical Christmas.  Ho voluto intensificare il verde, sfumando il Distress ink Forest moss e ai bordi un po' di Black soot, poi ho usato un cartoncino iridiscente oro di Studio Tonic.

When Betterpress came out I saw so many videos about their use and also that the plates for Betterpress could be used with the hot foil glimmer machine. I've always wanted to try it and finally got the chance to do it! What do you guys think about it? The result looks really good to me!

So I used Season's Greetings Evergreens press plate with Aura foil on a green cardstock from the pad Studio Light Magical Christmas.  I wanted to intensify the green by blending Distress ink Forest moss and at the edges some Black soot, then I used a gold iridiscent cardstock from Studio Tonic.

Come elemento principale ho colorato l'orsetto polare di MFT North pole pals con i copic markers ed embossato a caldo il sentiment della stessa plancia con la polvere della WOW Polish gold super fine.

As the main element I colored the polar bear from MFT North pole pals with copic markers and hot embossed the sentiment of the same plank with WOW Polish gold super fine powder.

Voila card finita! Cosa ne pensate? Spero vi sia piaciuta!

Playing with Mica Distress

Spero di trovarvi bene! Oggi é l'ultimo giorno del mese di novembre e domani si comincerà il countdown a Natale! siete pronte?

Hello everyone!

I hope to find you all well! Today is the last day of November and tomorrow we will start the countdown to Christmas! are you ready?

Non avevo mai usato i Mica spray fino ad oggi e son rimasta davvero affascinata dalla bella luce che ha, essendo una miscela perlata. Peccato che in foto vada a perdere queste belle sfumature.

Per questo sfondo ho usato i colori Frosted Juniper e Juniper Berry su un foglio d'aquarello. Per farmi sfumare bene ho anche spruzzato un po' di acqua. Una volta che lo sfondo si é asciugato, l'ho embossato con la placca Sizzix ELLISON 3D TEXTR IMPR, Jeweled Snowflakes e passato sulle parte in rilievo con un tampone d'inchiostro bianco.

I had never used Mica sprays until now and I was really fascinated by the beautiful light it has, being a pearl blend. It's too bad it loses these beautiful shades in photos.

For this background I used Frosted Juniper and Juniper Berry colors on an watercolor sheet. To make it blend well, I also sprayed some water on it. Once the background dried, I embossed it with the Sizzix ELLISON 3D TEXTR IMPR plate, Jeweled Snowflakes, and went over the raised parts with a white ink pad.

Ho colorato i pupazzi di neve del set Snow happy di MFT , seguendo il passo a passo di Alberto lo shakerato su IG. Dietro ad uno dei pupazzi ho incollato un fiocco di neve della Crealies ed un filo argentato. Sono felice di aver realizzato 2 card semplici e veloci! Voi cosa ne pensate?

I colored the snowmen from MFT's Snow happy set , following Alberto lo shakerato step by step on IG. Behind one of the snowmen I glued a snowflake from Crealies and a silver thread. I'm glad I made 2 quick and easy cards! What do you guys think?

Lawn fawn mini release

questa piccola release natalizia della Lawnfawn é davvero carinissima!  Se volete visitare l'account Instagram  di Scraphouse o mio di shiny_scrap troverete un reel dove mostro passo a passo la realizzazione di questa card.

Good evening dears,

this little Christmas release from Lawnfawn is really cute!  If you want to visit Scraphouse's Instagram account or mine at shiny_scrap you will find a reel where I show step by step the making of this card.

Rimanendo sul tema snow globe, ho voluto creare una shaker card. 

Ho cominciato timbrando la plancia Little snow globe e poi colorato con i Copic e fustellato inseguito con la fustella coordinata.

Poi ho sfumato i distress oxide Lumberjack plaid e Kitsch flamingo su un cartoncino d'acquarello, per creare lo sfondo della shaker. Ho aggiunto un po' di WOW SPARKLES Cotton Candy come elemento da shakerare. Per chiudere la mia card ho ritagliato la mia cornice glitterata innevata con la fustella Snow flurries backdrop.

Ad un certo punto la card sembrava un po' troppo "rossa" quindi ho voluto aggiungere un sentiment verde. Ho embossato a caldo, su un semplice cartoncino,  la polvere Verdant della WOW embossing powder e fustellato la scritta Let it snow border.

I ve chosen "the snow globe theme" , that's why I wanted to create a shaker card. 

I began by stamping the Little snow globe stamp set and then colored with Copic markers and die cut the images with their coordinating dies.

Then I blended Distress Oxide Lumberjack plaid and Kitsch flamingo on a watercolor cardstock to create the background of the shaker and added some WOW SPARKLES Cotton Candy as the shaker element. To close my card, I cut out my snowy glitter frame with the Snow flurries backdrop die cut.

At one point the card looked a little too "reddish" so I wanted to add a green sentiment. I heat embossed, on a plain cardstock, Verdant powder from WOW embossing powder and die cut the Let it snow border.

Bonjour!

Je reviens sur la toile après un magnifique week-end sur Lindau. C'était vraiment génial, on a pu déconnecter, se promener et se faire plaisir, du SPA, des massages et bien mangé :)

J'ai une carte avec un tampon ourson sous la neige de Nellie Snellen (vous en trouverez des semblables en boutique Scraphouse).

 

J'espère que cela vous inspirera pour commencer la création de vos cartes de voeux. J'ai encore de la peine à m'y faire, mais Noël, c'est dans moins de 2 mois!!! Je n'ai que 2 cartes de voeux!!

My Favourite Person Card with Isha Gupta

Hello everyone! Isha here sharing a fun watercolor clean and simple card on the new Betterpress by Spellbinders. Now this system comes with everything you need to create the card. 

I started by using  the black ink that comes with the box. This system is easy to use and gives a beautiful letterpress look, which is difficult to share in the photos.

I did everything as per the instructions to get the impression. You can use any of your favorite die or simply look for something in the SHOP.

I used  watercolors to color in the image and a soft wash in the background.

To finish, I adhered this panel to a dark red cardbase. I also made a REEL for this card,  I will add it to the Scraphouse.ch instagram.

Oggi è un giorno speciale perché festeggiamo il compleanno della nostra Marjolein! Tantissimi auguri!!!! Per questo evento speciale ho tirato fuori la mia amata glimmer machine. Penso che sia perfetta per creare card per eventi speciali.

Today is a special day because we celebrate our Marjolein's birthday! Best wishes!!!! For this special event I brought out my beloved glimmer machine. I think it is perfect for making cards for special events.

 
Ho cominciato a creare lo sfondo usando la plate Skinny stripe di Spellbinders e la plate Glimmer Bouquet con un foil oro satinato su un cartoncino bianco. I fiori dopo averli fustellati, li ho colorati con i copic. Una volta assemblato tutti i miei elementi al cartoncino, ho aggiunto un die cut sentiment di Pinkfresh studio ed i Gold Smooth sequin e fustellato il numero con una fustella di Aluacid.
Cosa ne pensate del risultato? spero vi piaccia!

I began creating the background using Spellbinders' Skinny stripe plate and Glimmer Bouquet plate with a satin gold foil on white cardstock. After die-cutting the flowers, I colored them with Copic markers. Once I assembled all my elements to the cardstock, I added a die cut sentiment from Pinkfresh studio and the Gold Smooth sequins and die cut the number with a die cut from Aluacid.

eccomi dopo le vacanze al mare a condividere questa nuova card dal tema natalizio. 

Trovo che questo piccolo set Pawsitive Christmas della Lawfawn sia davvero carino e facile da usare per creare card veloci. Ho colorato questo bassotto e gattino nelle calze di natale con degli alcool markers e ritagliato a mano.

In seguito ho embossato su un cartoncino la polvere verde della Wow embossing Verdant e poi fustellato il sentiment Merry Christmas border della Lawnfawn  ed i rametti del set Build-aWreath etched dies di Spellbinders. 

Infine per lo sfondo ho usato la glimmer machine con la hot foil Monoline stars.

Good morning crafters! 

Here I am after the beach vacation to share this new card with a Christmas theme. 

I find this little Pawsitive Christmas set from Lawfawn really cute and easy to use for creating quick cards. I colored this dachshund and kitten into Christmas stockings with alcohol markers and cut out by hand.

Next I embossed on cardstock the green powder from Wow embossing Verdant and then die cut the Merry Christmas border sentiment from Lawnfawn and the sprigs from the Build-aWreath set etched dies from Spellbinders. 

Finally for the background I used the glimmer machine with hot foil Monoline stars.

Congratulations card by Isha Gupta

Hello everyone! Isha here sharing a pastel with subtle glimmer clean and simple card featuring the new Betterpress by Spellbinders. Now this system comes with everything you need to create the card. I decided to use a gold ink instead of the black ink that comes with the box. This system is easy to use and gives a beautiful letterpress look, which is difficult to share in the photos.

 

I did everything as per the instructions to get the impression. I then die-cut it with a scalloped edge die. You can use any of your favorite die or simply look for something in the SHOP.

I used kitsch flamingo distress oxide ink to add some color to the two corners, stamp the sentiment and flicked some gold splatters to the panel.

To finish, I adhered this panel to a white cardbase. I also made a REEL for this card, however, I only could capture some part of the process. I will add it to the Scraphouse.ch instagram.

Je ne suis pas fan de Halloween et je ne le fête pas, mais quand j'ai vu ces petites chauve-souris de Lawn Fawn, je n'ai pas su résister! Il me les fallait! Allez voir en boutique toutes les nouveautés qui sont arrivées!

Dépêchez-vous, il ne reste que quelques pièces!

Je me suis amusée avec les encres Distress pour réaliser le fond de ma carte et j'ai ajouté quelques taches de peinture. Ensuite j'ai tamponné, colorié avec mes Copics et découpé mes images. J'espère que vous serez inspiré par ma carte!
